Stonehenry88 Posted September 20 Report Posted September 20 Hey guys my awesome daughter got me tickets for my first bengals game for Father's Day. I am Really excited about going but also a little worried about getting hackeled a lot. I want it to be an enjoyable experience for my daughter. We love going to reds games together. The game is the night game in November against the Steelers. Any advice is appreciated. Quote
Stripes Posted September 20 Report Posted September 20 If I recall, that’s the home game. I don’t figure you should have to worry too much about heckling. The Steelers fans will be annoying, but for the most part they’re unlikely to start real conflict. Unless you’re a Steelers fan yourself. Then I hereby heckle you. Be heckled. (you should be fine either way, have a good time) Quote
Stonehenry88 Posted September 21 Author Report Posted September 21 Thanks. Yes bengals fan here all my life. That is the home game and it's at night. I read it's going to be a whiteout which is cool. Quote
ArmyBengal Posted September 22 Report Posted September 22 Good morning, I hate the Steelers game and tend to stay away simply because I really dislike their fans. Like Stripes said though, probably no real issue with a conflict kicking up. They are just more obnoxious than most. I've been taking my kids to games for years and years and never had concerns. Parking is expensive most places close to the stadium. If you don't mind a short walk, go up a block or even two. You will find parking at least half the price of the places closer. Parking across the river and walking over the bridge is also really cool. There are always bottle necks to get in and out of the stadium, which drives me crazy so be prepared for that. The pro shop was just renovated and has a great selection of Bengals gear. It's worth at least a walk through. Concessions are pricey inside the stadium and I tend to eat before I get down there and limit that expense as well. Get there early so you can see the players introductions, the Ruler of the Jungle lead the WHODEY chant, and other stuff in the stadium. Since it's a Thursday night and the white out game, the pre game will be really cool and you won't want to miss it. I'm sure there's more, but I hope you all have a great time and have fun. 1 Quote
