BengalsDieHard1
It's going to rain all night (I'll have my poncho and flask of Jamesons) Anyway-Rudi runs for 145 and 2 TD's. Fiedler/Feely/Fuknuts throws for 125 and 2 int's and another 2 fumbles lost. BENGALS 27 -dolphins
BengalszoneBilly
I think the Dolphins Offense will beat itself. WHO DEY AGAIN has a good point here because of the starting QB shuffle that Miami's coaching staff is pulling in only the second game of the season! These QB by committee offenses usually yields negative results in the fact neither QB really builds any confidence and starts playing it too safe. It's always on his mind, knowing he's just a couple turnovers, or one poor performance away from loosing the job he just got because the OTHER guy now backing you up just did that very thing! Plus you have the timing issues between each QB and the recievers, handoffs to the RBs in motion, even the snap count between QBs will vary in cadence! All these things sound pretty minor to most fans, but the reality is they provide many added opportunities for penalties, mistakes, and mental errors. All of which can take a game from being a "W" and turn it into an "L" in a hurry!
Mindwarp
Gonna be interesting to come back here after we shut down your O and see your explinations Alot of the Offensive players and Coaches wanted feeley to start against the titans they know he's a gamer. This will be his coming out party ALL OVER your defense
jditty47
u better hope u are correct mindwarp or its gonna be a long LONG season for u guys, which im predicting it will be. and bengalbax isnt a bengals fan. At least barb had intelligent insights and at least some positives to shine upon. Bengalbax is a troll in the worst kind. Im sure hes a browns fan or some other team that just wants to piss everyone off on the board cuz he thinks its amusing. I cant stand the guy and wish he would be banned...im sure that wont happen but one can only hope.
TippCityRick
Gotta go with a victory for my Bengals, but coming up with a score will be difficult. Miami will play better next week but so will we. Their D is tough but the O is very suspect. I can't see them with more than one TD, so let's give them 16 points. Our O is rollin pretty well but their D is superior to Jets D. Let's say we can't score more than 2 TD's . . .But we kick 3 figgies and the D returns one pick for a score!!Gotta be 30-16 as the Bengals pile on late.(hey, can't be any worse than anyone else's guess at this point!) BengalBobNC
Bengals 31Dolphins 20Our defense responds to the coaches and the home town crowd allowing only 2 FGs in the second half.Carson to Chad and Peter early along with a Rudi rushing TD in the first half gives us the lead at the half 21-14. Dolphins get too much Rudi in the second half!
KiLBurn
Bengals 27Dolphins 20Rudi makes up for last week by going for 100+ yards and a TD. No Fumbles.Palmer passes for 250 yds w/2 TD's. CJ breaks 100 yards w/TD. Washington catches the other TD.Bengals D comes up with 3 interceptions after they shutdown the running game. cincykent
Fanball.comThe NewsPatrick Surtain suffered a leg injury near the end of Saturday's 17-7 loss to the Titans, and his status is up in the air for Sunday's matchup with the Bengals. The team re-signed cornerback Jimmy Wyrick on Tuesday for depth in the secondary. Our ViewIf Surtain can't go, Reggie Howard would likely start in his place, with rookie Will Poole playing the nickel and Wyrick providing depth. With defensive lineman Tim Bowens doubtful for the game, things are shaping up quite nicely for a good offensive game from the Bengals behind Carson Palmer and his Johnsons (Chad and Rudi). Barbarian
Time for Palmer to hit rock bottom: OFFICIAL Dolphins 16 Bengals 10 Case is very closed.Shut the f**k up for a while. You're worse than Barbarian, at least he gave explanations as to why the team would tank. Hey Terry--how about this one:The Bungles win in a close one (in OT):Bungles 20, Fins 17.The Fins' Defense scores 14 points in a thriller.Home field advantage--The Bungles win this one. Ross
Miami has a history of destroying first year Qb's like Brady, pennington, etc.We have a History of destroying MVP QB's like Mcnair, Payton, Vick etc.Palmer is going to join that list Sunday night. --Ross
HoosierCat
Bengals/Dolphins made Clayton's 1st...and 10 column this week (I guess it helps to have the game broadcast by espn, eh? ). Sez The Forehead:6. Miami Dolphins at Cincinnati Bengals (Sunday, 8:30 p.m. ET, ESPN): How times have changed? When was the last time the Bengals were a 41/2-point favorite against the Dolphins, who are coming off a 10-win season and look as confused as past Bengal teams? Second-year coach Marvin Lewis is a big part of that. He's done miracles in Cincinnati. Carson Palmer doesn't look like the usual second-year, first-round draft pick Bengals quarterback. Those quarterbacks of the past were inaccurate and scared, still reeling from horrible first seasons. Lewis was wise enough to give Palmer a first-year redshirt and let him learn from the sidelines. He has already established a big-play relationship with Chad Johnson, who will flirt with 100-yard games each week. But the Bengals could be in danger in this game. For one, the defense is banged up and had troubles last week. Cornerback Deltha O'Neal missed the opener with an ankle injury and Jets quarterback Chad Pennington had his way with rookie replacement Madieu Williams. The Bengals need the leadership of linebacker Brian Simmons, who was out with a knee injury. The Dolphins have made dramatic changes since their opening loss to the Titans. A.J. Feeley is in at quarterback. Lamar Gordon gets the start at halfback. They had eight new guys in the offensive lineup at times in the opener. If they can settle down, the Dolphins could have a chance for an upset.Looks like O'Neal and Simmons will both be back, so that should stiffen the D. Hopefully, it's the Bengals who can take advantage of the Fins new starters this week...4.5-point favs... :player:

Alot of folks around here are getting plain rediculous in their assumptions. Hey thanks fellas!!! Glad to be back!!! During those 2 weeks, I was itching to get back here. I just didn't have access. BTW, Oklahoma and Arkansas majorly sucks ass!!! How the American People ever elected a President that resided in Arkansas is beyond me--THOSE f**king PEOPLE ARE SO ASSBACKWARDS!!! No wonder why Clinton was sooooo corrupted. Here's why I'm predicting a close Bungles Win:That Dolphins Offense isn't scaring anyone. They played TWO QBs last Sunday--that alone should tell you something. The Fins only had 65 yards TOTAL on the ground--that should also tell you something....and here's the BIG "AND": The Dolphins Defense isn't scaring anyone either--they gave up 100 yards on 16 carries to some nobody named BROWN (well, I'll just go ahead and say that Jeff Fisher isn't an idiot on giving up Eddie George--HE KNEW WHAT HE WAS DOING). Their Defense gave up 182 yards on the ground Sunday--so the Bungles and the Fins' Run Defenses are about even. The Bungles Offensive FirePower will carry the day for them. CJ could have a very big day--or maybe even Rudi might have a big rebound. Here's another "AND": Does any player on the Dolphins' Offense scare anyone??? NOPE. Ricky's off smoking grass somewhere in the Carribean waiting on Ivan. Have fun trying to move the ball Sunday, Dolphins.
HoosierCat
Must you remind us of that Atlanta game??? I'm still smarting over it. Sorry. If it's any consolation, the dingbats at sportsline appear to have forgotten about it. From their preview:STREAKS AND NOTES: Dolphins - Miami is 18-5 on Sunday night and 5-0 against Cincinnati in primetime. ... WR Chris Chambers has four touchdowns in his last three road games. ... CB Patrick Surtain is third in the NFL in interceptions in the past four seasons. Bengals - Sunday will be the first national primetime game for the Bengals since 1997. ... RB Johnson is averaging 134.8 yards in his last five home games with seven TDs. ... T Willie Anderson has not committed a holding penalty since 2001. wookie
I am really looking forward to this game. I'll be lying if I said I wasn't concerned about it, and I'll probably have more butterflys in my stomach than Palmer!! I hope that the secondary can improve this week, and I hope that the Bengals don't let Lamar Gordon or Travis Minor look like Curtis Martin did last week. Miami did play 2 QBs last week, and each was ineffective with AJ "touchy" Feely getting a late score when the Titans D backed off. We don't have the Titans D though, and we made Matt Schaubb and Eli Manning look terrific in preseason. Hopefully O'Neal will be able to help change all that.Offense-wise I think we'll be fine. I look for Palmer to have another good outing and CJ will break 100 this week. Those who didn't put him on their Fantasy football roster this week will be sorry. I also think that the Bengals will be able to get their ground game going this week. With Ogunleye gone the Bengals can focus on Jason Taylor. I'd like to see the Bengals build their confidence and get some swagger back by dropping a bomb on the Dolphins in a prime time game. Nothing personal against the Fins, they just happen to be the team scheduled to play. As a long time Bills hater I have fond memories of the Dolphins beating up on them each year, and I was a really big Marino fan. That said I hope the Bengals destroy them. :player:

Does this mean we can clame the whole Dick LeBLOW fiasco can be written off? I mean if people can claim that the Ravens aren't the first Version of the Browns, we should be able to get a mulligan for Dick.
