Scottishbengal Posted September 12, 2004 Report Posted September 12, 2004 Cincinnati at NY Jets. Jets win 34-28The Jets blitz all day long in Palmers first NFL start, forcing 3rd and long situations. Palmer however has the tools required in C.Johnson & Warrick to convert some of those plays. Pennington looks to exploit a suspect secondary.Baltimore at Cleveland. Baltimore win 28-20A Baltimore win but not so easy as last time they met and J.Lewis is held in check ........compared to every other time he's played the Browns.Oakland at Pittsburgh. Oakland win 31-24The Raiders could emerge as the most improved team this season and the Steelers will struggle all day long to run the ball up the middle. Quote

BengalszoneBilly Posted September 12, 2004 Report Posted September 12, 2004 This division is upside down after week one.... I see it doing alot of that during the course of the season. It'll be tighter than I anticipated! Quote
Scottishbengal Posted September 12, 2004 Author Report Posted September 12, 2004 It certainly bodes that this could be the tightest, most interesting division, even if it isn't the strongest. Quote
Arizona Posted September 14, 2004 Report Posted September 14, 2004 the fact that we all suck makes it an interesting division. Quote
mello2dope Posted September 14, 2004 Report Posted September 14, 2004 i tried to tell you guys that the afc north was the weakest in the nfl last season. and again this year. but i do think the bengals even after the first week is not the worst team in the division. Quote
BengalszoneBilly Posted September 14, 2004 Report Posted September 14, 2004 i tried to tell you guys that the afc north was the weakest in the nfl last season. It's way to early in the season to assume anything about any division in the NFL. Teams haven't even started playing cohesively together yet. This observation will be better made after a minimum of 6-8 games into the season! Quote
