Scottishbengal Posted September 12, 2004 Report Posted September 12, 2004 Just signed up for Sunday Ticket on DirecTV here.I'll be watching every game ! You lucky B'stard!Bengals Vs Ravens on Sept 26th is (at the moment) the only Bengals game advised to be on UK TV!!!!!!! As I won't be making a trip Stateside this year this could be the ONLY chance I get of seeing the Bengals in action. It'll be the same old Sunday nights for me, infront of the computer screen watching the NFL GameDay statistics refresh, and watching the little helmets move across the screen!!!!!!It ain't much but it's all I got. WHO DEY SUNDAY! Quote

BengalszoneBilly Posted September 12, 2004 Report Posted September 12, 2004 It'll be the same old Sunday nights for me, infront of the computer screen watching the NFL GameDay statistics refresh, and watching the little helmets move across the screen!!!!!!It ain't much but it's all I got. WHO DEY SUNDAY! I will be doing the same thing on a few Sundays myself, although this game against the Jets won't be one of them!Speaking of gameday, sometimes I get so freakin' frustrated waiting what seems an eternity for the page to refresh with the next play! I always anticipate that something bad happened! Quote
wookie Posted September 12, 2004 Report Posted September 12, 2004 Speaking of gameday, sometimes I get so freakin' frustrated waiting what seems an eternity for the page to refresh with the next play! I always anticipate that something bad happened! Its the bane of any Bengals Fan Billy. We're so unaccustomed to having anything good happen that we're always waiting for the game to go wrong. Last year vs the Chiefs I couldn't relax and enjoy the fact that they had the lead, I literally had to see the score with the F next to it before I could celebrate. The whole time I was expecting the Chiefs to pull out some type of miracle comeback and win the game. I wasn't able to watch the game so I was watching the scores during an Eagles game.Today I will avoid watching any updates or scores until maybe halftime, and then again until after the game to see how it turned out. I don't think my stomach could take sitting here in front of the computer watching the updates. I'll just watch the Bills game where I don't care who wins or loses.Lets all hope we start the season off right. Go Bengals!! :player: Quote
