wookie
Hey everyone, found this on MSN...http://msn.foxsports.com/story/2646222?GT1=5012Bengals were ranked 17th, said there was some question with Palmer being the starter. the Ravens are up at #9. Is this too high??The Steelers are at #21 and the Clowns are at #29 beating only the Giants, Chargers, and Niners. Too Low for the Bengals??Too High for the Ravens??Or. are they pretty accurate for the beginning of the season?I'm actually glad to see the Seahawks listed near the top, I think they are really close to the Super Bowl...legit contenders this year. HoosierCat
17 sounds about right. They were .500 last year and right now that's about all we can go on.Crisco Prisco: puts us at 16 http://www.sportsline.com/nfl/story/7652074He also put the clowns at 29. But he put the tin men ahead of us at 15 and the Ravens at -- get this -- 5!I continue to be mystified by the pitt rankings. The addition of Staley does not justify all the hype. As for the Ravens, 9 sounds OK; they're a playoff team from last year, so they're top 10 until the show different. But top 5? The washed out in the first round last year and they still only have half an offense. Show me a passing game and then I'll consider moving them up. This I'll attribute to "Prime Time" going to Baltimore. How Deion is going to make up for the lack of a passing game is beyond me. Maybe he'll play a little QB, and throw a pass to himself playing WR at the same time!Craziness!
85inthehall
how are the dolphins getting respect to be a top 15 team with no running game, a weak offensive line, iffy WRs, and losing a DE that had 15 sacks??? I would like to see the power ranking from last preseason -- tamba and the raiders were 1 and 2 i think!
