Kazkal
Quote Report: Vontaze Burfict facing four-game PED suspension Posted by Darin Gantt on March 16, 2018, 1:35 PM EDT Getty Images The Bengals just signed some linebacker help, and they may need it for the first quarter of the season. According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict is facing a four-game suspension for violating the league’s policy on performance-enhancing substances. Burfict is no stranger to suspensions, but this is his first for PEDs. The date for his appeal has not been set. Burfict played just 10 games last year between injuries and suspensions. The Bengals signed linebacker Preston Brown earlier today.

volcom69
Nothing new here. It's a tradition every season for bengals fans, Burfict to miss the first 4 games. Who cares anymore!
ShulaSteakhouse
As I've said - unreliable player, can't count on him, time to move on and eye a replacement in the draft.
GapControl
I hope this one gets overturned. PEDS, HGH, etc are in every locker room of every team. He was injured and not playing apparently at the time so it should be a fine at the most or the NFL needs to institute a REAL drug testing program and make common sense laws and penalties. GapControl
I mean... maybe Goddell could donate some of his own salary to start a movement to clean up drugs and drug laws in the league. Like his own Magnum P I detective squad... ;)
ShulaSteakhouse
Well they're saying 4 games and his defense is pretty bad, it's why they suddenly signed Brown I'm guessing. They have a real problem with their o-line and LB's, even with Glenn. They can't afford not to pick an OT/G/C or LB at least once in the first two rounds. ArmyBengal
No surprise here. I liked the Preston Brown signing from what I heard. He can't be any worse than what they had last year in the middle.
