101Airborne
The Raiders need to stick with a damned coach. Switching to a new miracle cure every year or so is a disaster. Coaching consistency is highly underrated.

ArmyBengal
The Raiders are an absolute abortion of a football team.At least the Browns have some talent on their roster.

ArmyBengal
I thought they were going to give Trestman another year, but after that Cutler fiasco, you knew something had to give.Rex is no surprise and Smith being gone in Atlanta shouldn't really surprise anyone either. I know it wont happen, but it would be awesome.
volcom69
I could see Marvin bring in Mike Smith as a defense coach of some sort here. Mike and Marvin are like best friends, but not even sure if that happens.
ArmyBengal
I don't want anything to do with Rex Ryan or any other Ryan for that matter. Blow hards that can't back up anything they say.Mike Smith ?? I thought the same thing based upon the reported relationship with Marvin. Maybe a consultant ?? volcom69
A consultant maybe? Who knows if any coaches will leave, but if Mike can't find a job I don't think Marvin would hesitate to add him to the team.
HoosierCat
I don't see any compelling reason to dump Gunther. Yes, the D took a step back this year but IMO that's due to personnel issues more than anything else.
HoosierCat
Well, so far Jay has kept his job but Washington just fired DC Jim Haslett.

HoosierCat
...aaaaand Chip Kelly reportedly wants out in Philly. When did head coaches quitting become a thing in the NFL? ArmyBengal
So Marrone quits as HC of the Bills and lands in Jacksonville as an assistant HC.Well, at least the weather is better...I don't know what to think about that Marrone situation in Buffalo. On one hand, I think he's a quitter. On the other hand, why the hell did the Bills put the option for him to walk away with pockets full of cash, regardless of working for another team in 2015 in his contract ?? Considering the current situation with the Bills, I can't say as I blame him all that much.I'm not saying i'm losing sleep over that, but it's odd.
