LAWFIRM
What do you all think of this pick?Bengals: Alex Carter CB StanfordThe Bengals still rely on old-timers at corner, and the youth movement isn’t picking up as quite planned.I like Carter I feel he can be a starter, and will probably be better than Dre from day 1 smh. skyline
It will just depend on who else is available of course, but the idea of sinking another 1st round pick into a corner doesn't get me very excited. If Newman is finally done, then I'm hopeful we'll see a mix of Hall and Dennard next season. HoosierCat
Corner wouldn't surprise me. OT has to be on the list as well.
skyline
OT has to be on the list as well.Yes, please.I'd be happiest with a lineman of some sort. Either side of the ball.
ArmyBengal
I think OT and LB (either MLB or OLB if they move Burfict, which I don't see).CB wouldn't make me smile in the least. Target one in the 3rd if necessary.
HoosierCat
And Dane Brugler at CBS says...30. Cincinnati Bengals – WR Kevin White, West VirginiaIs either Marvin Jones or Mohamed Sanu a legitimate No. 2 option opposite A.J. Green? Cases could be made for both, but White would give the Bengals and Andy Dalton a boost at the position and help elevate the offense.I suspect that might put Army's TV screen in danger of being hit by a brick...probably mine too. ArmyBengal
Oh yeah, bricks away. There's worse though.I think one of the guys on Walterfootball has us taking a Center in the first.Honestly, I think Bodine is doing pretty freakin' good considering everything.Give him another year in the system and they appear to be looking good there.Spend a first on the position ?? Seems like complete silliness.I still say OT or LB with their first and second round. You want a WR ?? No earlier than the 3rd.Good ideas for the draft would be to look at the free agency list in 2015 and 2016.Good amount of starters and spots to be considered. We can't keep them all. HoosierCat
While we're on the subject, the draft will run April 30 - May 2 next year.
ArmyBengal
Yeah, I saw they bumped it a week earlier than last year.I guess i'll take what's given.

ArmyBengal
I saw that it was going to be in Chicago as well.I don't know my school schedule yet for the spring, but if I could manage, I would love to see that.I've always wanted to go to the draft and things have never lined up. Stripes
Honestly I wouldn't object to any non-special teams, non-QB position as of right now. The Bengals are good enough and deep enough that they can just go straight up BPA (within reason). A corner might bug me a bit though simply because they've already invested so much in that unit. HoosierCat
Here's a name I haven't seen before from Schrager at Fox: Devin Funchess, WR/TE. Michigan./>http://www.foxsports.com/nfl/story/mock-draft-nfl-marcus-mariota-jameis-winston-leonard-williams-020915The cbs guys all have him going in the first but it still feels like a reach to me./>http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/players/2001877/devin-funchess
