HoosierCat
Per Reedy, Bengals have promoted Kyle Caskey (formerly the offensive line/quality control coach) to RB coach.

ArmyBengal
In a related move Shawn Magilicutty was named towel thread count assurance coordinator.Marvin Lewis was quoted as saying, "The position is very important and i'm sure the players towels will be the softest in the league".Who the hell is Kyle Caskey ??Is that the kid from South Park ?? jjakq27
Charles is not and was not a fullback this year. Please stop trying to be cute. Here a little piece about QC coaches and their duties. It's basically an entry level position. http://www.milehighreport.com/2011/3/11/2043379/the-role-of-an-nfl-quality-control-coach-denver-broncos-football-scouting
HoosierCat
May as well update this thread as a place for non-coordinator coaching changes.Per Hobson, assistant secondary coach Louie Cioffi is headed to Tennessee to coach their secondary. He has been with Cincy since 1997.Adam Zimmer is expected to join his dad in Minny, so that opens another assistant's spot on the D.And they have to fill Gunther's spot at LB. Kazkal
Sad to see Zimmer go really sad but I'll wish him the best and Vikings will be my 2nd fav team.
volcom69
I said in the other thread give me Jim S. the ex lions coach as a LB coach. He was Marvin LB coach in Baltimore, and they are good friends. I think he would do well with that group.

I guess he's going to Tennessee with Whisenhunt.http://www.azcardina...14-5fc250473c72Kerry Coombs' son and Jim Lippincott's son are both QC guys for the team. I could see them getting elevated a little based on Zim's departure. Also, stated in another thread, who else was on Schwartz's defensive staff? Or on other staffs of fired coaches. volcom69
So bengals hire ex Lions LB coach Matt Burke. He developed some good LBs in Detroit, and hearing he is a good teacher. Sounds like a good hire.Reading Cinci Jungle article Marvin and Jim Schwartz sounds like they are very close. Still wonder if Jim can't find a job if Marvin would bring him here for some kind of role. I was hoping he would be the LB coach, but this guy sounds good. jjakq27
Schwartz might be taking the year off. Unless he ends up in Cleveland lol.Burke is a Schwartz guy. He's done some good work in Detroit. http://www.bengals.com/news/article-1/Bengals-add-Lions-LB-coach-Burke-third-generation-Lewis/661e5e46-6980-4836-b936-dcb2833e36d5
