redsbengalsbucks
Great news, everybody! Check out the forecast for Sunday: strong storms, rain and 20+ MPH winds!Bengals better rediscover the run damn fast...Jay sees this as the reason to pass the ball 50+ times, becuase the Browns will be thinking the Bengals will run it in the bad weather. Sneaky bugger.
ArmyBengal
Great news, everybody! Check out the forecast for Sunday: strong storms, rain and 20+ MPH winds!Bengals better rediscover the run damn fast...True. However, they are in better shape than the Browns. Their running game is non existant. But wait, they have the bestest elite QB in the NFL right now.

cincyhokie
I feel like all of Bengaldom is playing the Hyde to Browns fans Jekyll. This is bi-polar behavior at it's best. The world is not ending, the poles haven't shifted. The Bengals are going to throat punch the Browns (in the rain, if need be)and head into the bye to heal up for the final 5 games. This is a decent team experiencing a lull. To think that they we're going to make it through the season without a slump is not being realistic. The Browns are a decent team coming off a single win. Of course, this is enough to throw Brownieville into a tizzy of excitement as they approach a .500 record. We're going to laugh at everyone including ourselves when this game is over. I'm not saying it won't be a game, but the Bengals are going to win. Period.

What I do think is that this team specializes in making it as difficult as possible on themselves. Call it "playing to the level of the competition" or "can't handle prosperity" or "inconsistency," it all comes down to the same thing: that there are precious few "gimmes" when it comes to the Bengals.I would love to see them trounce Cleveland. I think they are more than capable of it. But yeah, it's gonna be a game.

It's like the fans don't know how to handle success and adversity as much as the team does. This team does not make it easy, no. You're right. I think we can throttle the Browns! Can being the opporative word.

HoosierCat
I dunno Army. Devon hasn't done a lot to impress me (and granted his opportunities have been limited). OTOH Thompson is showing signs of being at least an upgrade over Pat Sims and maybe more. FWIW with Atkins out last week the Bengals pass rush actually improved. If their first game after losing All-Pro defensive tackle Geno Atkins is any indication, the Bengals will be just fine when it comes to pressuring the quarterback.Yes, Cincinnati lost to the Ravens in overtime, 20-17, but the Bengals had the eighth-ranked pass rush in Week 10 according to The MMQB Pressure Points ratings, which is well above the ranking (27th) they held heading into the game. Tommy
Ohhhhh this is gonna be a sweet W. I think most of you are underestimating the pure awesomeness of our coaching staff. We can run the ball, but we've been passing so well, why run? We'll run this weekend if the weather report holds up. Ol' Willis will get his touches, and I expect him to get 100 or so. This ain't the same Browns fellas. This team has some serious swagger and confidence reaming, I just hope it doesn't go to their head, especially if we win this weekend. 17-10 Brownies. Sure. I'm also sure that they'll just roll over in the biggest game of the year in their own stadium because the Browns have won the last 1 of 4 games. My god, Browns fans are not level headed. Ease up fellas. It'll get there. In the meantime, be patient, take your meds, and stay away from your annual QB controversy.
BengalByTheBay
This team has some serious swagger and confidence reamingWTF does this mean. How can you have "confidence reaming." Oh wait, I don't think I really want to know. You are talking about the game, right, not some fantasy prison drama??
Tommy
I am a machinist, so I guess I do use machining words often. But reaming means the enlarging of! Enlarging of confidence, I guess I could have chose a better word. I'm sure Bengal Billy will understand the 'reaming' definition better once he gets out! Jk, he's a good man. Poor bastard.CincyHokie, do I have to believe we will lose to the Bengals because you are strictly at home? It's gonna be half Browns fans there you know. You all are gonna be in shock at the level this team is gonna play at this week. You know it's not about the amount of W's rather than the actual way the team has been playing. This isn't the same Browns team good sir, you will see.
Tommy
And also, you know what's amazing. 3 different qb's and we are in the spot we are. That should tell you about the direction we are headed fellas. Get rid of Marvin already Jesus.

Poor bastard.lol - just reaming you for an awkward phrase there.I agree that the clowns are fortunate to still be in the chase after plowing through 3 QB's already. At the same time, though, I think it's plainly true that Campbell is not the savior that he looks to be after such a short sample of games. He is merely more competent than Weeden right now. As you must know from decades of QB competitions, Cle pretty much proves the adage that if you have 2 QB's you have none. A couple multi-pick games from Campbell and you'll be hearing boos for the starter at home all over again. Kelly Holcomb and Spergon Wynn say hi.None of this is to say that this game's a foregone conclusion. The Bengals have been playing like crap lately, it's true. We shall see....
