ArmyBengal
With the draft going on, I forgot about the game tonight.New series with the Nationals and they got their butts handed to them 8-1.The Reds managed a whole ONE hit in the game by the way of a Votto homer.BLEH !!! Stripes
Two straight games with only one hit.I'm so glad the draft is on this weekend. I can pay no attention to this brutal crap.
skyline
Yep...that seems pretty historically bad to me. Like you, I'm grateful for the draft. It's the only thing keeping me from reading digging around the stats to discover the last time they've been this bad in back to back games. You've got to feel for Bailey last night. ArmyBengal
What the heck is going on with the hitting ??This team is so inconsistent it isn't even funny.Hitting should NOT be a problem for this lineup.
ArmyBengal
Good news, the Reds got 9 hits tonight !!!Bad news, those hits were only good for 3 runs in a 6-3 loss.Leake gives up 4 runs over 3 innings of work.Looking like Leake needs to get sent down when Cueto returns. The way the Reds are playing recently:
ArmyBengal
Cingrani is pitching today, so i'm hoping for another solid outing from him.Hoping he gets the Reds team that knows how to hit and score runs show up today.
skyline
Off to a solid start. 3-0 through 3 innings.Army, I think you're right. It's looking more and more like Leake is going to be the odd man out.
Stripes
Cingrani was awesome. They'd better not blow this.Seeing that 1-8 on the road garbage every time I look at the standings is killing me. Worst in the majors right now. This team is way too good for that. Hopefully it's just an improbable poor start.
skyline
Nice to see Marshall come in and bail them out in back to back games.
ArmyBengal
Cingrani is surely taking advantage of the opportunity given to him.
