2013 NFL DRAFT ON THE FORUM

The draft has historically been a very hectic time here at Bengalszone and we try to keep things going smoothly with the picks, trades, so on and so on... We are going to try to do the same thing we've done since forever and keep things from getting out of control and we need your help to make the site easy to navigate during the draft.

This weekend, there will be pinned topics (some closed) in the Bengals Forum. There will be "Pre-Draft" and "Post Draft" threads for each round.

I / the Mods will handle these threads. We ask that all conversation about who the Bengals will draft in that particular round be kept in the "Pre-Draft" thread and then all conversation about who they actually pick be kept in the "Post Draft" thread. (AT LEAST THROUGH THE DRAFT PROCESS) Topics NOT pertaining to those two areas are still more than welcomed and always encouraged however, those resembling the pre or post DRAFT threads will be either merged or deleted. This will help all of us from being exposed to 100 threads that all talk about the same d*mn thing !!! The MODS will try to keep this together and if your topic gets moved or deleted, don't take it personal, just go with the flow.

If there are any issues or ideas about what we could do differently, please feel free to ask here or PM me...

I'm going to get the early round threads up today, but in the meantime, I have to share something with you guys.

You have to register, which is limited and you pick for whatever team you like in the upcoming draft.

There are trades offered and all kinds of crap. It's a ton of fun that i've wasted tons of time on already.

The last time I drafted for the Bengals, I didn't take any trades and it fell like this:

2. Giovanni Bernard, RB, UNC

3. Bacarri Rambo, S, Georgia

4. Barrett Jones, C, Alabama

5. Landry Jones, QB, Oklahoma

6. Reid Fragel, OT, Ohio St.

7. Knile Davis, RB, Arkansas

7. Joe Kruger, DE, Utah

I would absolutely sh*t myself with a draft that fell like that !!!

I will do my best to overreact and bitch about taking too damn many wide receivers and such

I tried it, and the trade offers are overly generous, so I skipped those (I had insanely good drafts when I traded)

I also noted they really, really undevalue Vaccaro, Warmack and Cooper - Warmack was frequently available at 21, which I cant conceive of

Yeah, the trades are ridiculous.

At one point I had like four 2nd round and 3rd round picks.

How could anyone complain about getting a safety named Rambo?

Looking at some of the guys selected, are there any players you would just love to see in stripes regardless of the round ??

Rambo is the safety I absolutely would flip for.

My thoughts on Barrett Jones are also well known.

There are other players I think would be nice, but can't say I have the same level of love for.

Bernard at RB comes to mind.

Hunter at WR would be a nice red zone target for Dalton.

There are a bunch of LB's I like as well, just get one.

I just ran a draft on the site and ended up with about 4 2nd round picks due to trades.

I know that wouldn't happen, but the players able to fill holes would be sick !
