Tigers vs Giants in the World Series

With 'Frisco smashing the Cards last night, the World Series is now set. IMO the Giants have the momentum here by a little bit. I really don't have feelings one way or the other for these teams, so I just want to see a good competitive series.

I'm just glad the Cardinals didn't get there.

Mission #1- See Reds in the World Series (DIDN'T HAPPEN)

Mission #2- F*CK the Cardinals (Thank you Giants)

I still think the Tigers take the series, but don't really care...

I still think the Reds are better than the Giants. Reds-Cardinals would have been tight.

It's all moot, however, as the Tigers take this thing in 5 games.

This matchup is quite like the last two World Series, I think. The better built team (Detroit/Texas/Texas) is facing the hotter team (San Francisco/St. Louis/San Francisco). That has gone the way of the NL lately, obviously.

Verlander might be the balancing effect to save the Tigers though.

Well if Detroit wants a shot at winning the Series, they're gonna have to dig out of a deep hole. 'Frisco is looking really strong right now but the games move to Detroit for the next three where they get their DH back. Now I feel the Giants grab this in six or seven.
