Your new starting WLB is - Burfict

The thing is that it isn't a good year for LBs in the draft so I would look for a SLB in FA. Burfict can handle the middle, Howard and Lamur the WILL. Not sure who'll be there in FA.

Shaun Phillips

Anthony Spencer

Connor Barwin

I think Phillips could do well in this D, or Barwin.

I think there are several draftable LB's who are good/sleepers...

Brandon Jenkins from Florida St. is strong, but not a sleeper

Devonte Holloman from South Carolina is a nice player. late round guy.

The Bengals are going to only have like 3 or 4 LBers under contract after the season. Talk about some major turnover.

If one ISN'T Maualuga, I will be happy.

I think he comes back though, much to my dismay.

Ya Marvin was pleased with him over past couple of weeks,Finilly stepped up and became a leader >.< took him long enough.

Funny (see pathetic) part about all that is that Marvin made those comments, then backtracked saying it was taken out of context.

His team loses two more games AFTER those comments were made and then turn around and win the next two.

His response to those two wins in relation to the comments that were taken out of context ??

"That’s what I wanted"

I guess you could say this was all part of his master plan, but i'm not buying it.

Had the Bengals continued to lose, what would his response have been ??

"That didn't work out the way I wanted"

Maybe I should stop harping, but i'm just done with him and don't really care what comes out of his pie hole anymore.

If Rey were to leave and go to a team that ran a 3-4 and was successful in the scheme, everyone would be pissed without consideration of how that team was utilizing him. I'm saying we are utilizing him wrong, just pointing that out. You need not look any further than guys like Justin Smith that is All Pro in San Fran's 3-4. It also doesn't hurt he's playing on one of the best defenses in the league.
