combatbengal
I just read - Carson Palmer is struggling this preseason and does not appear to be a natural fit for the Oakland Raiders' new offense. Yea, this is what I expected when he signed with them. He always had excuses as a Bengal, I'm rusty, need more practice with my WR's, we need practice, etc. I don't miss him at all in stripes!! Glad we have Dalton!!
ArmyBengal
In the meantime, Terrell Pryor looked pretty comfortable out there. That could totally change next game, but whatever.
COB
My lasting impression of Palmer is that questioning look he had on his face after a pick. He'd run off, kind of confer with the receiver, make some hand motions meant to represent routes or something, then chill on the bench until the next pick. So glad he's not here, but I feel a bit sorry for long-suffering Raiders fans. Hue Jackson is the man, no doubt about that.
Sea Ray
In the meantime, Terrell Pryor looked pretty comfortable out there. That could totally change next game, but whatever. They play Seattle next; arguably the most impressive looking team in the preseason. It'll be interesting to see how that game unfolds and how long until the fans on the east side of SF Bay call for Pryor
combatbengal
I don't like Pryor becuase of how he helped ruin the Buckeyes but I'd rather him take over and have them bench Palmer.

It's a novelty until defenses game plan him. Oakland is screwed if they give up on Palmer...likely they're screwed regardless
ArmyBengal
Again, I cannot stand the maturity issues of Pryor, but the ability is there.Vick is 6'0, 215Pryor is 6'4, 233Vick is the player I would most likely compare Pryor to and if Vick was bigger and more capable of taking hits, he would be All-World. If Pryor gets his head on straight, it wouldn't surprise me to see him succeed in the NFL. That's not to say he will, but again, it wouldn't surprise me if he does. If he can get his head right he could be very good.
COB
I don't think Pryor has the ability to play in the NFL. Right now he is just benefitting from the backup quarterback syndrome - fans love the backup until he plays a couple games. After the Black Hole watched Pryor shot-put a few horribly inaccurate passes to the other team, they'l hate him. Seriously, do you guys remember how he'd miss wide open guys on little 7 yard out pattersn? Dude was not good.
walzav29
I had a bad case of loser denial when Palmer played. It's just so hard to get a QB, that theres no way I thought things would work out with Dalton the way it has. What a blessing. Palmer sucks, and has no fire or leadership ability. I enjoy watching him fail.
combatbengal
Yea I didn't know much about Dalton when we selected him and really wanted Luck. But Luck stayed in school and Dalton turned out pretty good for us. I don't miss Palmer at all! He just wasn't the same after the Steelers broke his leg.
