ArmyBengal Posted July 10, 2012 Report Posted July 10, 2012 Well, the Reds are off until this Friday but they start off the 2nd half with a 10 game homestand. The first 3 games are against the Cardinals, so it would be nice to see them begin the 2nd half strong. The starters for the series will be: Latos, Leake and Cueto. We are still 1 game behind the Pirates who start off at the Brewers. We won't play them in the 2nd half until the beginning of August.GO REDS !!! redsbengalsbucks Posted July 10, 2012 Report Posted July 10, 2012 Come on Latos, Leake, Cueto and the Brewers! Quote
ArmyBengal Posted July 14, 2012 Author Report Posted July 14, 2012 Back in action tonight.Latos only goes 5 innings, giving up 2 runs on 4 hits and was down 2-0 when his day was done. The Reds came back and Chapman is on to close it out in the 9th. Reds up 5-3. Quote
ArmyBengal Posted July 14, 2012 Author Report Posted July 14, 2012 And the Reds get the win to start the 2nd half 5-3 over the Cardinals.Nicely done as Simon gets the win.The Pirates are up on the Brewers 6-5 right now... Quote

BengalszoneBilly Posted July 14, 2012 Report Posted July 14, 2012 FOX has the Reds game live on out here today (Yea!) but the Reds are leaving way too many men on base. Good thing Leake is pitching (and hitting) well. Quote
BengalszoneBilly Posted July 14, 2012 Report Posted July 14, 2012 Ondrusek is junk. I have no faith in the bullpen anymore. Quote
BengalszoneBilly Posted July 14, 2012 Report Posted July 14, 2012 Here comes Chapman. Let's hope his control is there. Quote
BengalszoneBilly Posted July 14, 2012 Report Posted July 14, 2012 And it's not there. He is bringing the heat though. Quote

ArmyBengal Posted July 15, 2012 Author Report Posted July 15, 2012 Cueto has a blister on his finger and Bailey will get the start tomorrow as the Reds go for the sweep... Quote
skyline Posted July 15, 2012 Report Posted July 15, 2012 I really hope Votto pulls out of this slump soon. It's so strange seeing him off like this. Quote
Stripes Posted July 15, 2012 Report Posted July 15, 2012 His slumps are rarely very prolonged, like those we've seen from Cozart, Stubbs, and Bruce this year. He'll be back into it soon I expect. Too bad for him the lineup is completely fugtarded. Quote
BengalszoneBilly Posted July 15, 2012 Report Posted July 15, 2012 Sweet!! The Reds game is on Nationally again tonight. This time on ESPN. Quote
