BengalszoneBilly Posted June 26, 2012 Report Posted June 26, 2012 Hey Latos:DON'T SUCKHe pitched well tonight in the Reds win. Complete game as well. Bonus is the Pirates and Cardinals are both trailing in their games! Quote
UK Bengal Posted June 26, 2012 Report Posted June 26, 2012 Pirates lost cards won and latos was lights out this is the reason we sent 4 players to the padres.13 k's = sweet Quote
redsbengalsbucks Posted June 26, 2012 Report Posted June 26, 2012 Thank you Baker for not putting the choke artist in the game and blowing another good effort by a starter. I wish they would just go get an actual closer and let Chapman ease back into long relieve/ spot starter like he should be at this point of his development. Quote
BengalszoneBilly Posted June 26, 2012 Report Posted June 26, 2012 I wish they would just go get an actual closer and let Chapman ease back into long relieve/ spot starter like he should be at this point of his development.Chapmans confidence is definitely shaken at this point. He could use a break right now, and work with his pitching coach on working on a pitch that complements his heater. Quote
BengalszoneBilly Posted June 27, 2012 Report Posted June 27, 2012 Well Dustry thrusts Chapman in for the save in a 4-3 game.God help us all. Quote
cincyhokie Posted June 27, 2012 Report Posted June 27, 2012 Dusty trying real hard to lose another game here.Wait...2nd K.Ok, Chapman. Prove your worth. One more to go. Quote
cincyhokie Posted June 27, 2012 Report Posted June 27, 2012 Chapman AND Baker are redeemed!Keep proving me wrong!Great game! Quote
BengalszoneBilly Posted June 27, 2012 Report Posted June 27, 2012 I'll take the win and hope it boosts the confidence of Chapman. One walk and three strikeouts ain't too shabby.Oh... also give it up to Stubbs for the game winning shot after Bronson blew a 3 run lead. Quote
skyline Posted June 27, 2012 Report Posted June 27, 2012 Don't look now, but the Cardinlas have jumped past the Pirates. Looks like they're pulling themselves back together. Quote

Still, the Cardinals were flirting with .500 not long ago and now they're 5 games over... Quote
Stripes Posted June 27, 2012 Report Posted June 27, 2012 The Cards have always been the bigger threat, in my opinion. I could even see Milwaukee finishing higher than the Pirates. Quote
