2-0 Brewers after the 1st. Bailey had to throw 42 pitches in the first inning, so I'm pretty worried about how he can hold up the rest of the game. I thought he actually pitched pretty well, but credit the Brewers for some fantastic plate discipline and for fouling off everything good.

Bailey was actually throwing some really solid pitches in the first inning. The first two batters kept fouling things off, though, which got his pitch count high and it all snowballed from there. Shame...

Maybe it's just the hype that surrounded him and having to now temper that to being happy that he's a "good #4".

I still don't care for him and a pitcher that throws some good pitches that results in a loss is what ??

I hear you, but the guy deserves a shot if he stays injury free. We'll see how it plays out. It's a loooooong season.

Either way, here's hoping they pull the win out this afternoon. Another series win sure would be sweet.

2 games above .500 is at least moving in the right direction.

They just have to keep things going that way.

They get a day off tomorrow and then start a 3 game series at home against the Nats
