Stripes Posted May 1, 2012 Report Posted May 1, 2012 It gets underway Tuesday at 7:10 eastern time.Arroyo vs. Samardzija @ 7:10Bailey vs. Maholm @ 7:10Leake vs. Demster @ 12:35The last pitching matchup is a bit daunting considering Leake's poor start to 2012. The other two look like games the Reds should win. They're 7-3 in their last 10 games, and a continuance of that would go a long to way to make us forget about the increasingly meaningless bad first two weeks. Quote

BengalszoneBilly Posted May 1, 2012 Report Posted May 1, 2012 The Reds have to take at least two outta three in this series, an not let the Cards run off with the division lead. Quote
ArmyBengal Posted May 1, 2012 Report Posted May 1, 2012 Still enjoy heading home in the evening and popping on the game after the kids are in bed and the house is quiet. It will be even better if they can manage to put a few "W's" up !!! Quote
skyline Posted May 2, 2012 Report Posted May 2, 2012 Yeah, I was bummed. It was on TV in Nashville and I was all settled in for a laid back night of beer and baseball Quote
redsbengalsbucks Posted May 2, 2012 Report Posted May 2, 2012 Any news as to when the doubleheader will be? Seems like they would try to get it in today or tomorrow. Quote

ArmyBengal Posted May 2, 2012 Report Posted May 2, 2012 I heard the double header would be the next time they play the Cubs, not this series. Quote
redsbengalsbucks Posted May 2, 2012 Report Posted May 2, 2012 I heard the double header would be the next time they play the Cubs, not this series. Thanks, that seems pretty dumb though. Should have had it today, and get it done. Never know when you are going to have another rainout. There is no way the field was in that bad of shape that they needed all day long to get it ready. ArmyBengal Posted May 3, 2012 Report Posted May 3, 2012 In todays early game, the Reds are down 3-0 in the top of the 8th.They can't get anything together.2 in a row to the Cubs ??Dusty's seat has to be warming up... Quote
ArmyBengal Posted May 3, 2012 Report Posted May 3, 2012 Hold the phone...3-3 Reds tied it up in the bottom of the 9th with 3 runs !!! Quote
