walzav29
Every year it's the same thing. Every prediction is just a mix of the teams from the previous years playoffs. Like everyone was picking the Bucs last year. Everyone is picking the Patriots this year. The fact is that most season's in the free agency era end up with a Superbowl that no one would have thought of. I also think it's a joke that Jacksonville is the sheik pick. Everyone wants Byron to be great and Carson to suck. Rush Limbaugh looks to be right in my opinion.
Kirkendall
Who wants Carson to suck?
IfItsBrownFlushItDown
Who wants Carson to suck?I second that question...People aren't saying that Carson is going to suck, some (well, most) are questioning the decision to make him the starter.*Edit*: There are some Bengals fans who think Carson will fail, but that is because they still have their faith in Kitna. As far as the analysts go, see above. My prediction is that by the end of the season, Lord Byron will be taking more crap than Palmer. There D-Line may only be matched by Carolina's (Stroud, Henderson, and Douglass). They have a good offense, with the potential to be great (Taylor at RB, Jimmy Smith and Reggie Williams at WR, good O-Line, and Byron Leftwich showed incredible talent last season). The Jags are a definite team to keep their eye on.

They're the best team in the NFL on paper right now. They're the deepest too. Thus, injuries shouldn't hurt the Pats.Where do you guys come up with this stuff??? HoosierCat
I also think it's a joke that Jacksonville is the sheik pick. The team that everyone seems to fawn over that mystifies me is the Tin Men down in P-burgh. I've seen predictions ranging from 8-8 to 10-6 for them, based on jack divided by sheot, far as I can tell. They still have an XFL QB, no o-line, no secondary, and their big offseason grab was Duce Staley, who's pushing 30. And all the Tinhorns keep talking about how they improved on defense by getting rid of guys like Gildon, Bailey, Washington, and Alexander -- but wait a minute, weren't these guys part of the No. 9 D in the NFL last year??? I just don't get it. They'll be lucky to win the 6 games they got last year, IMHO.

Their running game is overrated. Duce Staley may be tough but he's got no line--and the Bus is broken down.Plus, the XFL'er showed his real skills last year. He'll prove why he never made it in the NFL. The only receiver he has is Ward. Plaxico Burress has had one decent year. I love watching Plax--he's a crybaby and he thinks he's Randy Moss. I often wonder how much weed Plax smokes in the offseason.
