cincyhokie
The Cardinals just treat the Reds like their little bitches...home and away. It's embarrassing. The only way to beat the Cardinals is to play smart, fundamental baseball. Similar to when playing the Steelers you have to beat them by playing physical, mistake free football.Until the Reds learn to do this, they will be a mediocre team in the league. BengalszoneBilly
5-0 in the top of the third. Pathetic.
cincyhokie
8-1 now. Sweep coming tomorrow. 4-9. I'll say it again. This team just does not have what it takes. Sure, they will start hitting "better" but hitting when it counts in big situations in big games, they'll fall short. They are just not capable of playing as a team. The change needs to start with replacing Baker sooner than later. It's gonna be a LOOOONG season folks!
Stripes
Yuck, Latos. You'd better improve after April.
redsbengalsbucks
Yuck, Latos. You'd better improve after April.Latos is always a slow starter, but I thought he would be doing better than this. He needs to grab his big boy pants for his next start. ArmyBengal
Wow, 11-1 huh ??Let's see...When your top 4 hitters in the lineup go a combined 3 for 13 and leave 9 runners on base, you probably aren't going to win that many games. Bruce, Stubbs, and Rolen all hitting under .200 doesn't help either. Bill Bray's 13.50 ERA is freakin' ridiculous as well. What the hell ?? Stripes
Thank goodness for Bronson Arroyo. 8 innings of fantastic pitching (only 90 pitches), and Marshall closes it out. 6-3 Reds.5-8 is crappy, but that is meaningless right now. There's plenty of time to turn it around, especially if the offense even gets back to the mean.

ArmyBengal
Yes, nice to see the win, but it sucks when you have to say, "At least they didn't get swept".All that saying is going to get you is somewhere around the bottom of the division and no playoffs. They need to be winning some series and agree with hoping the Cubs can spark a change. On to the next series thread.... cincyhokie
Arroyo pitching well is huge. Already figure to have Cueto and Leake pitch well with Latos coming around eventually. Add in the 2010 version of Arroyo? Nice. Chapman too? Whoa.Too bad our hitting is so entirely inconsistent. On to Chicago...
