BengalszoneBilly
I'm a long time Tolkien fan, but I see no way The Hobbit will be as epic as the Trilogy was.
HoosierCat
Probably not, but it's a good story (arguably better than LOTR) and they are incorporating a lot of the "off-stage" stuff from the LOTR appendices and later fragments. Heck, they even managed to stretch it to two movies. So we'll see. One thing I do expect: it'll make epic coin.
skyline
Awesome! Looks impressively complete for something that's still a year away from theatres.
ArmyBengal
I always loved this book and think the movie will surprise a lot of people.I think the story itself is far better overall than the others. Then again, I may just be a big dork... ArmyBengal
It's like the Clerks movie when they describe the LOTR movies. They are just walking and walking and walking.Maybe so, but I enjoy those flicks and still watch when they come on TV.It's like Star Wars, I always watch those movies... I always get sucked into any Godfather marathon, too.
