I dont want to get to excited yet, but i was so happy with this pick in the draft, that i hope he continues to grown and becomes the next big thing here for the bengals. My hope is he continues to get better each week, and by the end of the year maybe we will be saying this our QB, and be able to surround him with future young stars in the draft!! Quote

I can't speak for anyone but myself... but the conversation has not been centered around what will happen in the next 14 games. The conversation is based wholly upon what has happened in the first two games.In those first two games, Dalton has been far better than even biggest homers expected... so there is plenty of reason to be excited. Palmer hasn't had a passer rating that high since 2007... and his career passer rating is only 2.6 above that (and that was with a passer rating over 100 in 2005).Mike Brown just raped and pillaged the Raiders for a QB that would be Dalton's back-up.
