ArmyBengal Posted April 29, 2011 Report Posted April 29, 2011 Well, they have the day off today, but kick it off tomorrow with Travis Wood on the mound.I just wanted to get this thread started so I didn't have to bother later...GO REDS !!! Quote
semiotter Posted April 29, 2011 Report Posted April 29, 2011 man Josh Johnson is a beast this year....ouch Quote
ArmyBengal Posted April 29, 2011 Author Report Posted April 29, 2011 Wow, the Reds continue a bad trend and give up 5 runs in the first inning.5-0 Marlins bottom of the first. Quote
Stripes Posted April 30, 2011 Report Posted April 30, 2011 probably going to lose today, and then we get Josh Johnson tomorrow to try and push us under .500. Quote
ArmyBengal Posted April 30, 2011 Author Report Posted April 30, 2011 This team needs to stop consistently putting itself in such a f*cking hole. They are beating themselves !!! Quote
BengalszoneBilly Posted April 30, 2011 Report Posted April 30, 2011 This team needs to stop consistently putting itself in such a f*cking hole. They are beating themselves !!!You would think the Reds pitching coach would have done something by now! Dusty needs to dress that coach down! Quote
BengalszoneBilly Posted May 1, 2011 Report Posted May 1, 2011 Damn... the hitting isn't there tonight at all! Quote
Stripes Posted May 1, 2011 Report Posted May 1, 2011 I totally gave up on this game after it got to 3-0 Marlins in the 8th.So naturally, the Reds win 4-3 in 10! Quote

ArmyBengal Posted May 2, 2011 Author Report Posted May 2, 2011 I heard a really f*cked up stat yesterday while watching them lose again. It was the 8th straight home game that a Reds pitcher had given up runs in the first inning. They simply have to reverse that trend. You can't consistently put your team behind and expect to wins games. Quote
redsbengalsbucks Posted May 2, 2011 Report Posted May 2, 2011 The luster has rubbed off this pearl fairly quickly. What a great start to the season, only to squander it in such an unprofessional way. Here's hoping to a return to last seasons form. Good pitching, good defense and timely hitting. Quote
Stripes Posted May 3, 2011 Report Posted May 3, 2011 I don't know what the rest of the season has in store obviously, but if this really is a good team then I'm glad they're in their obligatory funk right now rather than in August or September. Quote
BengalszoneBilly Posted May 3, 2011 Report Posted May 3, 2011 Hey! we got out of the 1st inning without giving up a run! Quote
