derekshank
Cleveland.... Carolina.... Yeah. Keep at it buddy, you might.... maybe you wanna rethink those two. What do you mean? Why do I need to rethink those two?Did you know that T.O. had his best game statistically in a loss against the Browns. Then... once he's gone, the Bengals are able to beat the Browns. Interesting. How many first downs did T.O. and Ocho combine for in the win against Baltimore? It's not all about number wise guy.Five. Five is how many first downs they combined for in the win against Baltimore. And that's a number... wise guy. Honestly... do you remember that game at all? The Bengals had 0 TDs and 5 FGs. 2 of the FGs were because of turnovers putting the Bengals in FG range... and another because of a 60 yard kickoff return/roughing the passer call. Chad/T.O. had very little to do with that win.And since you like first down stats... T.O. and Ocho combined for only 5 of the team's 21 first downs in the win against Carolina as well. Seems like they didn't play much of a role in many Bengal wins last year... huh? But boy, oh boy... were those losses entertaining! I know I had my popcorn ready!Football is a team sport. It doesn't help when you have a QB that can't hit a crossing pattern (T.O.'s specialty) to save his life. Yep... and it doesn't help the QB when the WRs have alligator arms and run routes when they feels like it. It works both ways.Palmer and Brat are the two to blame for a lackluster offense. Two sentences ago you talked about how football is a team sport... but now you are suddenly able to pin all the problems on two people? You're a walking contradiction. That said, I agree that Brat is a major reason the Bengals were losers in 2010... but I'm not sure why you do. Brat made Chad/T.O. the focal point of the offense, which is exactly what you wanted... right? But the reason he deserved to be fired was that he had a successful blueprint from '09... and he threw in the garbage in order to appease the TOcho show. A plan that resulted in 0 wins... as I've already demonstrated.
agreen_112
Army and Baby, The Bengals problem was not TOcho. Our problem was Palmkowsi... Enough said. If you don't agree with that then you won't understand where I'm coming from. The duo of T.O./Ocho could've been huge. Palmer failed. His timing is so far off, he wouldn't even do well in a college game. His accuracy is horrible, he looks like a worn-out Warren Moon. Football is a team sport. Every first down counts. You can't deny T.O.'s playmaking ability. You can't deny Ocho's ability to shake EVERY defender he faces. You can in fact spot a bad QB. Palmer was so bad that he messed the WR's flow up. Ocho/T.O. didn't stand a chance at helping this team. Coaching and QB unforntunatly are responsible for everything! If your QB can't lead, he can't lead. The equals NO wins. Palmer showed up for a few games and we got a couple wins. Big deal. Overall he has been a complete failure. I'll be much happier rebuilding around a new QB then having to watch a paper-arm QB with a gimp knee EVER throw to a reciever in stripes again. Brat failed to use the players available. Palmer failed to hit them consistantly.

volcom69
Football is a team sport.... Coaching and QB unforntunatly are responsible for everything! Why even argue with him anymore, he dosnt listen to anything anybody has to say. He sees what he wants too, not the facts. Time to move on this team was a joke last year with those two idiots, and will be a much better team with both of them gone.
