Replace the OC get rid of or change the WR's and Palmer will be a different QB. Not great but good. He was never a great QB.

I think they need to build the WR corp around Shipley now. Get a good speed reciever, and not one who would rather tweet then catch balls

BengalPimp
He was never a great QB.Fuuny, because I could have swore he made 2 Pro Bowls (including a Pro Bowl MVP) had a couple of 4,000 yard seasons, LED THE NFL IN TD'S AND COMPLETION PERCENTAGE IN 2005, finished 2nd in TD's (behind Manning) in 2006....Make no mistake, he WAS a Great QB in '05 and '06......He may not be now, but he was... He was great in 2005. He also had 2 of the best WR's in the NFL at the time in CJ and TJ. Right now we just want him to be ok, or better yet, just win. ArmyBengal
Funny how that win against the Ravens seems so meaningless now huh ??That was suppose to be how the Bengals showed they could beat a Super Bowl contender after getting their butt handed to them the week before. Then they follow that up with multiple bites of the sh*t sandwich.I hope Carson and company can figure things out, but even if they do, it won't matter this season. It would be nice to see them string together some wins against some of these teams though. The attitude comes and goes. REALLY, i mean they couldnt figure this out a couple of games ago? Who the hell is the leader of this team, whos the guy who gets in eveyones face and demands attitude, and greatness? Is there even a guy here can do that? So far it seems that everyone is soft spoken, and wont speak up. Why has there not been a players only meeting to see if everyone can figure out a way to win these games. Even if it dosnt work at least they tried something. Also its not like this team is getting blown out, as bad as they may look they are only losing by a touchdown or less, hell they even have the lead, but end of losing. These guys have to find a way to finish these games, and thats what they need to work on. I just hope somebody soon takes the leadership role. Passepartout
Football is a team sport. True the leader and the one that gets the blame is the QB. But there are ten other players besides the QB, that are out there. Bear in mind.

It's the offense, and his poor decision making..... and his off throws .... and the playcalling .... and the dropped passes .... and the protection.... excuses, escuses, excusesPoint blank, Palmer's elbow is fine - He is not. We need to make due with what we have. He should NOT be playing the way he's playing. Players hit slumps. He needs to find a way out of this slump if he wants a job in the NFL. Get a good speed reciever, and not one who would rather tweet then catch ballsGet a good speed receiver for what, so Palmer can underthrow him. I will never figure out why some people continue to blame everything but Palmer. Palmer has been one of the lucky quarterbacks in the league to have been under the same offensive coordinator(OC) the whole time he has been in the league. Get a new OC next year and when he sucks you Palmer apologist will say he's adjusting to the new OC that's why he sucks right now. No , Palmer sucks unless we are down by 21 points at halftime and the opposing defense starts to get relaxed with their coverage. The Bengals will never win anything(Playoff games) with Palmer at the helm, once they realize that we can move on and start making progress. We all know the reason we went to the playoffs last year and it was more because Palmer was reinvented into Trent Dilfer than him carrying us. Once we go back to depending on Palmer to win games you have seen the result. The Palmer brothers have to go, take their tired act somewhere else. Who in the hell really believes that Palmer lite is capable of doing anything in a real game if he got in? The Bengals need to stop questioning our intelligence.
