semiotter Posted September 18, 2010 Report Posted September 18, 2010 Astros are playing very well this will be a tough series Quote
ArmyBengal Posted September 18, 2010 Author Report Posted September 18, 2010 2-0 Astros right now. Quote
ArmyBengal Posted September 18, 2010 Author Report Posted September 18, 2010 Cardinals are also beating up the Padres as well. 8-2. Quote
ArmyBengal Posted September 18, 2010 Author Report Posted September 18, 2010 Gomes with a 3 run blast puts the Reds up 3-2, top of the 6th... Quote
ArmyBengal Posted September 18, 2010 Author Report Posted September 18, 2010 Chapman gets yanked after giving up runs. 5-3 Astros and the Cards are killing the Padres. Quote
semiotter Posted September 18, 2010 Report Posted September 18, 2010 Were those earned runs? I couldn't pull out signal on Rolens drop when AC threw to him for the force? Quote
ArmyBengal Posted September 18, 2010 Author Report Posted September 18, 2010 Not sure, but I also noticed how Bruce wasn't in tonight either. Bloomquist got the start.I just checked and now Bruce is pinch hitting. This changing of the lineup every night is odd.I know some rest couldn't hurt, but I'd rather see them go into the playoffs on a winning streak. ArmyBengal Posted September 18, 2010 Author Report Posted September 18, 2010 Yonder Alonzo is having some real problems hitting the ball. Quote
ArmyBengal Posted September 18, 2010 Author Report Posted September 18, 2010 Game... 5-3 Astros Quote
AGrizzlyBaer Posted September 18, 2010 Report Posted September 18, 2010 Man the reds have looked bad against some bad teams lately not exactly how you would want to be playing at the ened of the year. Quote
BengalszoneBilly Posted September 18, 2010 Report Posted September 18, 2010 San Diego just got to the Cards bullpen and lit 'em up for a 3 run dinger! 7-4 Padres! Quote
BengalszoneBilly Posted September 18, 2010 Report Posted September 18, 2010 On a side note the Reds down again 1-0. Quote
BengalszoneBilly Posted September 19, 2010 Report Posted September 19, 2010 The Padres whipped the Cards, and the Reds are up 2-1 on Houston! Quote
ArmyBengal Posted September 19, 2010 Author Report Posted September 19, 2010 The Reds are going to win tonights game and get that game back on the Cards. That's a good thing, but I really just want to see them head into the playoffs on a high note.If they are just resting people, fine, but losing to bad teams won't help them from a mental standpoint. jjakq27 Posted September 19, 2010 Report Posted September 19, 2010 The Reds are going to win tonights game and get that game back on the Cards. That's a good thing, but I really just want to see them head into the playoffs on a high note.If they are just resting people, fine, but losing to bad teams won't help them from a mental standpoint. They are close to being able to rest some guys the remainder of the weekend and week prior to the Padres series which could be big for home field advantage. Stripes Posted September 19, 2010 Report Posted September 19, 2010 Fork the Cardinals, they don't even matter anymore. The Reds need as many losses as possible from San Diego, Colorado, and San Francisco, IMO, to secure a home series against Atlanta. Quote
jjakq27 Posted September 19, 2010 Report Posted September 19, 2010 Reds win 11-1. Arroyo gets his 16th win. Magic number at 8. Quote
ArmyBengal Posted September 19, 2010 Author Report Posted September 19, 2010 I don't care if you are just a moderate Reds fan or follow them closely, this season has been very fun to watch as a fan !!! Quote
BengalszoneBilly Posted September 19, 2010 Report Posted September 19, 2010 Reds down by 1 in the 8th! A win by the Reds today would make this weekend PERFECT!! Quote
BengalszoneBilly Posted September 19, 2010 Report Posted September 19, 2010 Oh well, I kicked butt in football and Nascar. I guess I can't have it all. Quote
ArmyBengal Posted September 20, 2010 Author Report Posted September 20, 2010 My Buckeyes won, my Bengals won, and my fantasy football team (The Alien Animal Crackers) won as well.I was one team away from the perfect sports weekend, but I certainly won't complain. To be honest, I haven't even looked at anything about the Reds outside of the score today.I'll get to it.Next...
