Looks like Wilson tore both his ACL and MCL. That sucks because he would have made one hell of a backup, and a damn good starter if there were any injuries to our starters. Looks like Hebert is now a lock to make the team unless they sign another Safety....problem is, I don't see any quality Safeties left on the market. Here's hoping Roy and Crocker make it through 16 games.

Hebert made some nice plays today it's really shame he doesn't have the cover skills because he's one hell of a hitter...Should be intering if a Young Guy Catches on the roster now even though he's been injured this year does Nelson Make it? Or Do one of the UDFA stick on? And will Ndukwe be the Primary Backup for both FS & SS.

Jeromy Miles comes with a resume for NFL quality skills but I don't know if he's ready for an NFL job yet. In a perfect world he's thrown on the practice squad.

As for Tom Nelson, I don't see how he makes the team sitting on the bench. He better get healthy in a hurry

The injury Gods demand their sacrifices every preseason/training camp and if Gibril is the major injury sacrifice they needed to make, then I can live with that, as opposed to a starter. Wilson is much like the other guys they have any ways.

I'm guessing we'll be seeing alot more of Rico Murray.

Yeah, either rico or hebert will make this squad now,.. But i think keeping 4 safeties and and hybrid is somewhat dumb,.. Gotta have the 2 staarters, Duke nukem as primary backup to both,.. And then a hybrid IMO so rico murray makes it, as the new special teams captain! and backup safety.

I agree with seeing more of Jeromy Miles in these last two preseason games. I simply don't see much difference at all in what is left.

I think Murray will benefit most, but I was just never a big fan of his. Hope he proves valuable if he's next in line.

So, is Marvin White just pre-season fodder, or does anyone give him a chance to make it?

I know he can't be great if the Lions waived him... but he was a starter, and I always loved watching him lay down hit after hit when he was with the Bengals before.

Well, he should be better than Nelson, at the very least.

What about Will Demps? Guy was top-level for many years... Was down in Houston but don't recall what became of him.

I do like the young guys only because I feel like Ndukwe has maxxed out.

Between Miles, Nelson and Murray, one or them will shine enough to be the keeper.

Also, I want to see more of Hebert. He looks lighter and faster, maybe his cover skills can catch up?

If I was going to want to see something more from one of the youngsters, I'd REALLY like to see more of Jeromy Miles.

He just seems to have the skillset needed, but lacks experience. He will make it to the practice squad if not, but he's one I like.

Problem with White is, he was burned repeatedly last season for the Lions, and consistently took bad angles when attempting tackles. He never really "layed any wood" to anybody. He whiffed a lot!!!

I vote Fodder
