semiotter Posted July 11, 2010 Report Posted July 11, 2010 Wow what a weird weekend for my two fav teams. The Reds go to Philly and lose four really close games. Both teams pitched good but Phillies got the big hit each game to pull it out. The Reds are still in first and the break couldn't of come at a better time for some of are bats. And now for the good news( for me) Wow the O's go into red hot Texas and sweep them Four, yes I said Four games!!! Wow who would of ever guessed that!!! Not me and you know how I'm a die hard O's fan. They even spanked Cliff Lee. Wow WTG O's. They finally get Hot and its break time. LoL Quote

BengalszoneBilly Posted July 30, 2010 Report Posted July 30, 2010 Well, in regards to "Who can tell what will ever happen", the Orioles hired Buck Showalter to be their new manager Semi...it wont help....lolI wouldn't say that. I watched Showalter come to Arizona to take over a dismal Diamondbacks team and improved them to the point they had a 100 win season and won the NL West. He's not bad. Quote
ArmyBengal Posted July 30, 2010 Report Posted July 30, 2010 Yeah, I don't think he could be any worse than some of the other options that will be out there come the end of the season.Have faith Semi. I mean look at our Reds !!! Quote
BengalszoneBilly Posted July 30, 2010 Report Posted July 30, 2010 This thread title is perfect. The Reds didn't even play tonight, and yet tonight Cincinnati found themselves alone in 1st place! That's a good night in my book. Quote
semiotter Posted August 4, 2010 Author Report Posted August 4, 2010 Yeah I hear ya fellas but it will take a lot for my O's to get back on track in that Div. Hell all the teams are good. Quote
ArmyBengal Posted August 4, 2010 Report Posted August 4, 2010 Baby steps Semi, baby steps.I heard Showalter had the guys taking infield practice for almost an hour just to reinforce the fundamentals.Taking it back to the basics right there... Quote
