walzav29
They know they have a franchise QB, and I love the way they realize he doesn't have weapons.M. JonesA. BryantJ. GreshamJ. ShipleyThats some bullets. I felt they needed to put heat on the qb as well. SO I like Dunlap. Baltimore had a great offseason/draft as well. I'll still take CP over Flacco. I'm still hopin for Gilyard.

ShulaSteakhouse
Shipley will replace someone. Another WR wouldn't hurt in the draft. As much as I love Gilyard, for the locals who are upset they took Shipley instead, Gilyard doens't project nearly as well as a posession receiver in the NFL. I'd still love to see them take Mardy if he's there in the 5th or 6th still. As for Ghee, I guess he was invited to the draft for a reason, and is a value pick at a position of need. I just wonder if it's any indication Trent may be moving to FS, or that they just value Ghee's upside and want him as a 4th CB, and to see how he develops. I don't think Trent's a future starting or nickel CB.

redsbengalsbucks
As I check out the picks the Bengals made, I still cant get a happy feeling that the team has filled the holes I thought needed filled. IMO they entered the draft needing a S, OG and a LB (inside or outside, whichever the team is not going to play Rey at in the future). So far they have not filled any of these needs, but they did grab the backup CB that I was hoping for with the fourth pick.Hopefully they will fill at least a couple of these spots with the next picks.I dont really dislike any of the picks that were made, but none of them bowl me over either. ArmyBengal
There's the rub though, you can draft those spots from here on out, but talent wise, you aren't really upgrading what you already have on the roster already. I will concede that while you aren't looking for starters when you are coming off a Division crown, you should be trying to consider what happens a year down the road or further and grab someone in those spots.Who did we grab to warrant consideration at the #1 or #2 WR spot ??Who did we grab to upgrade the interior of either the offensive or defensive line ??What about safety ??How does Rey move to the middle without an upgrade to the SLB spot or a MLB to keep him outside ??I think we head into next years draft STILL needing to draft a WR early, with Safety and Linebacker being priorities. BlainThePain
I think I'm higher on this draft than others here, but that's because two of my favorite prospects got drafted in Gresham and Ghee. I honestly think Ghee will be a better corner than Haden, and would have thought that even if the Bengals didn't draft him. Its just giving Coyle another prospect to work with.I preferred Decker over Shipley, but it does give Carson that prototypical slot receiver to go with Chad, Bryant, and Gresham. Could you imagine what our third down package will look like this year? Chad and Bryant out wide with Shipley in the slot and Gresham at tight end, and Leonard in the backfield. That's five weapons on the field at the same time that can convert a third down.
