BlainThePain
True, but Pittsburgh's newly discovered need is just one more reason why Dez Bryant won't fall to the Bengals in the real draft. I dunno you just got rid of a guy with a bad attitude so would you really want to go after a guy who is so suspect? Read on a article that even Benn may be looked at before Byrant by some teams. To me its comparing apples to oranges. They knew Holmes had four kids with four different women when they drafted him. Its a lot different than getting a free dinner and forgetting a pair of cleats. Dez might have a little diva in him, but like he said in a recent interview, he has never been in legal trouble, he doesn't do drugs, and he doesn't drink. Dez's problems are being overblown in the media, and I don't think (and hope) that Dez doesn't fall to the Steelers.
Kazkal
I just don't want to see the steelers to get him Mmmkay? I personlly have no problem with him because I always thought the "character risk" label was unfair. As for him not doing drugs or drinking it is his word but hes never been busted for it and who knows maybe hes a chad 2.0(when it comes to the not drinking not smoking)My only real concern about Dez is he has Eugene Parker for a agent whos known for some pretty beefy holdouts and if Dez falls to the late rounds I just can't see him getting in to camp on time when he was considered a "top 5" talent. ArmyBengal
Yeah, I think if Bryant is there for the Steeler they will take him as well. I think his issues are a bit overblown, but if the Steelers pass on him, I won't have any issues with him being our pick.
ArmyBengal
Kentjett is on the clock, but when his time is up, I'm still blocked from sports sites at work. Yes BengalPimp, I tried those sites, but these smartasses blocked all proxy sites as well. Oh well, I guess I will have to actually **gulp** work...Anyway, feel free to make his pick for him in about 5 hours if you choose. I'll be back in about 6 and will do it myself if it's not done yet.Thanks...

Kazkal
With the 20th selection of the draft the Houston Texans take.........a CB is my guess now to get Kenj's sexy sig up on the mock post
HoosierCat
Well, there's Houston for you, kaz. Some interesting names left. On offense, obviously there's Gresham. For o-line fans, Bruce Campbell is still available. Dunlap and Mays are defensive possibilities.
ArmyBengal
Well, to be fair, it wasn't my pick to make, but thanks for moving things along.Onto the Bengals poll thread...
Kazkal
Okay now that Hooiser made Texans pick gonna add a poll to the current 21st selection thread or?Or we just gonna go ahead and go with Mays PS,Kyle Wilson seems like the right pick there,They have a outstanding O and they can get a power back later in the draft...But their D needs secondary help and they gotta find someone to replace robinson.Kenj could always change it if he comes on soon

kentjett
Spiller is too small and wouldn't complement Slaton. I was torn between Wilson and Ryan Mathews. I like to root for the Texans so thats why I pick them every year. I know their team just as well as the Bengals. Wilson will end up getting picked prior to the Texans pick and RB is the second biggest hole so Mathews is the best bet. Thanks once again for being extremely impatient with draft. You would think there is $ on the line. I'm good with the other picks, I don't really follow them teams too closely.

Thanks once again for being extremely impatient with draft. You would think there is $ on the line. You can't be serious. Over 21 hours elapsed between Atlanta's pick and the eventual pick that was made for you. I know you checked it before going to bed, and Atlanta hadn't selected yet, and then you got home from work, and your pick had been made. Well, how about checking before you go to work? No, there is no money on line, but there were rules in place... rules that you have 6 hours to make your selection. A rule that was bent and even broken by the time a mod got around to making your pick. Do you realize how long a mock draft would take if we allowed everyone to take a full 24 hours? So, the point here is that this mock draft is important enough to you to complain that you somehow got the shaft, but not important enough to check up on every 12 hours or so. Gotcha.
