What are the odds of the Bengals winning 2011 SB?

I think we have a decent shot. Indianapolis is not the Indy of a few years ago. The Colts were exposed by New Orleans in the thinking that you can't blitz Peyton. Baltimore and Pittsburgh both seem to be declining, and the Jets are more a fluke than Cincy, IMO. The team to beat in 2010 will be San Diego, and we're playing a first-place schedule next year, so it'll be tough to win double-digit games again.

If the passing game is improved and we get better pressure on the QB, I think the Bengals have a realistic shot. The defense and the running game should be even better next year, after a year in which we played a lot of youngsters on both sides of the ball.

That said, I think we need two more productive WRs, a coverage FS/SS, and a rush specialist at either DE or OLB to make that jump, though.

I don't know about the Super Bowl and refuse to even talk about it, but I like our chances to contend for another playoff berth. I don't figure both Pittsburgh and Baltimore will be so terribly inconsistent next year, but if just one of them continues to fudge it up we'll be in the race.

Make the playoffs and you can win the Super Bowl. Anyone.

Pittsburgh ranked 5th at 11/1?

I guess Vegas likes all of the new players the Steelers added.

Hey, wait a minute....

<_<

I was thinking the same thing.

I am a little surprised that the Vikings (12:1) and NY Giants (20:1) were ranked so high. Considering the potential fallout should Favre retire I would have had them a little lower. Same thing for the NY Giants. For having such a poor season, I don't understand the justification for such good odds for the G-Men. I would say we have a much better chance than they do at this point.

Wouldn't be a bad buck,Texans very young talented football team...All they really seem to need on Offense is a Running Back and Some Safetys on Defense so I could see them going Deep in the playoffs.

Buffalo Bills 100/1

Cleveland Browns 100/1

Detroit Lions 100/1

Kansas City Chiefs 100/1

Oakland Raiders 100/1

St. Louis Rams 100/1

Tampa Bay Buccaneers 100/1

Tempted to throw 50 bucks on each of them you never know!

It is crazy that the Steelers and Ravens have better odds than us, but remember the odds are also determined by betting....You want the Bengals odds to go up? Have more people bet on them. More people would put money down on the those other teams winning the SB over us. So Vegas drops the odds cause if they do win they are out a s**t tonne of money.
