Kazkal Posted January 11, 2010 Report Posted January 11, 2010 Looking back at it they should done alot of things. Not Drafting Odell,Pollack,Perry,Irons,Warrick & akili among others... but what is done is done so best not to think about it. Quote
Kazkal Posted January 11, 2010 Report Posted January 11, 2010 So he just shanked a game winning 34 yard field goal,Want him now? Well atleast he can kickoff hehe Quote
Whur CHad At? Posted January 11, 2010 Report Posted January 11, 2010 UH OH Neil has Shayne Graham disease Quote
HoosierCat Posted January 11, 2010 Report Posted January 11, 2010 Rackers...still suckin' after all these years! Quote
kingwilly Posted January 11, 2010 Report Posted January 11, 2010 Shankers...Shanker-sores...F kickers in general. Kickers suck.Once Ocho really has no speed, he should work on extending his career as a kicker... Quote
Kazkal Posted January 11, 2010 Report Posted January 11, 2010 So rather then get a Shanker via FA or undrafted free agent how about we just draft the best kicker? Now would be good time to bring in a young Kicker for the future since we have a New Holder & snapper in place. Quote
Whur CHad At? Posted January 11, 2010 Report Posted January 11, 2010 F kickers in general. Kickers suck.Couldnt agree more, but it would be the best job one could have. Get paid a lot of money to sit around and make kicks. Play for 20 years or so making a mill a year. Would be a good life. Quote
jjakq27 Posted January 11, 2010 Report Posted January 11, 2010 Looking back on it, the Bengals should have kept Rackers.I gotta disagree. It took him several years, post-Bengals to get his s**t together. In 2003, Graham came in and provided stability to a position that had been in turmoil for the three previous years. This team is light years ahead of those teams but Rackers was a big part of the loser mentality of that time period. I think they made a wise move of removing him from here. How long could they afford to wait for him to develop?Look at his first two years...12 of 21 and 17 of 28. Sorry that's just not good enough. In fact many teams probably would have dumped him after two seasons but we brought him back in 2002 and he was a late cut in Marvin's first camp in 2003.http://sports.yahoo....rl4__m6Db_.uLYFI mean look at how quickly people turned on Brad St. Louis and now Graham. His time was done here. He wouldn't have made a difference in yesterday's game anyway. Quote
ArmyBengal Posted January 11, 2010 Report Posted January 11, 2010 Here's always the other part to the question concerning Rackers. How could ANY kicker be expected to be a solid kicker on the previous turf at PBS ?? That field was the worst field in the league at the time.Rackers probably would have done better with the new field turf, but that is neither here nor there as Shayne was brought in and produced. If only he was able to produce Saturday huh ?? Sad...Moving on...... Quote

Sad...Moving on......I think the field turf was installed in 2004 or 2005. Graham's first year (2003) was on the old turf too. And the opposition's kickers seemed to manage OK when they were here.Unfortunately Neil is a head case. He is a little too high strung for a kicker. Quote
ArmyBengal Posted January 11, 2010 Report Posted January 11, 2010 In looking at Rackers last year and Graham first, there was little difference, but Rackers 2nd to last year was HORRIBLE.Either way around, they both had poor weekends. Quote

That turf was as bad (if not worse)than the Heinz Field surface right now. Quote
