Kirkendall
Sorry guys it's taken me awhile to get this back up and rolling again; I kind of forgot I was doing this. Anyway, who do you think is the best Bengals guard of all time? We'll start a vote for both starters and a backup next week. .......and........ GO! B24
Just in case you guys don't remember all the guards the Bengals have had, just go to http://www.bengalszone.com/players.php and do a search with the position field set to Guard. denverbengal
Max Montoya.Went to 3 pro-bowls as a Bengal...one as a Raider. Played in both Bengal Superbowl games in the '80s. He played in 223 games during a 16-year NFL career...not too shabby.

Reimersfan88
Bruce Reimers. He kept the defense off of Boomer.

jjakq27
Put me in for Max Montoya too. The beginning of the end for the Bengals run as one of the better teams of the late 80's began after the 1988 (?) season when the Bengals got cheap and wouldn't sign Max right away. They gambled that he wouldn't leave but he went back home to CA when he signed with the Raiders. Oooops!!!
Bobcat Bengal
But Steiner's going to be good too. I'm guessing you mean Steinbach right? If so, I concur.
jjakq27
Gotta give some consideration to Dave Lapham also. He was a versitile player that could play all of the line positions and did when needed.
