he was good enough that he went from a fourth round flier to warranting a large FA contract from someone. That is "panned out". Compared to say, Melvin Tuten, that is "hall of fame".

Other "projects" that have developed nicely for this team off the top of my head:

Fanene

Cook

Roland

Livings

Ndukwe

Bernard Scott

Gone but not forgotten for his contributions while here:

Housh

He didn't get a fat FA deal from 'someone'--he got it from the Eagles--the same team his stud brother plays for. I don't know if that had anything to do with it, just like I don't know if the reason 'Baby Brother' Palmer is a Bengal is because of Carson. Just saying...

FWIW...I don't necessarily agree Andrews was 'garbage' in Cincy and didn't contribute anything. He was ok as long as he had a good supporting cast. Half the battle in the NFL I suppose.

Speaking of the Dancing Bear, this is from PFW's latest NFC Whispers column:

We hear the Eagles' decision to go with Max Jean-Gilles over Stacy Andrews at right guard Jamaal Jackson's season-ending ACL tear forced the team to move Nick Cole from guard to center to replace him has something to do with Andrews' slow return from offseason knee surgery. But he also has struggled to grasp the team's offense and failed to show any of the spunk he did as a starter in Cincinnati. Jean-Gilles did not play all that well down the stretch last season before getting hurt, so it's particularly telling that he is getting the nod over Andrews.

Spunk? Andrews showed spunk in Cincinnati? Sorry, I must have missed that...

Yeah, when they franchised him and he couldn't go to Philly last year.
