greenday333
"I know one thing," winning coach Rex Ryan said after the game. "You don't want to play us." Oh really. Well the bengals want to play you. They sure didn't want to play Houston. I think last night was the greatest thing to happen for the bengals (minus the injuries). The Jets are going to come into this game with all sorts of false confidence. The bengals will be amped up to show the Jets/ the nation how they play when they really want to. I do not have a single doubt in my mind that we will win this playoff game.

Stripes
The Bengals clearly wanted to play the Jets in the playoffs. Laying down and taking it with no grease should be proof enough of that.

Laying down and taking it with no grease should be proof enough of that.Ok once again i will ask if they wanted to lay down that game then why were any of the starters in there? Chad got hurt before the game, but still played and is now paying the price to where he cant even extend his leg. So instead of not starting the back ups they decided to go out and embarress themselves on national TV, i just dont see it. Maybe they really did try but just got beat in almost every phase. Maybe it should be a wake up call to them that they better get ready or else it will happen again. Will Peko and Crocker really make that much of a difference, against an O-line that just over powered every bengal out there. Those were the starting LBs out there and there o-line just killed them, esp Rivers who couldnt get off a block if he tried. Im not really overly worried about Sanchez, but that run game that they have seems to out match the Bengals.I wanted to play the Jets, but no i wonder if the Bengals will be physical enough to play. They seem to have lost a step after that second Pitt game, at least before then they moved the ball, outside of the Chargers game this teams offense cant move the ball. Against the Jets #1 defense i dont know if i have confindece that Palmer and the WR can get the pass game going. Why should i they havnt all year long.Well i hope by the end of the week i can put that lack luster performance behind me and get my confindence back on Saturday. Gametime exposure, and perhaps a little strategic selling of the blank gameplan they offered.
JoePong
I'd have more confidence if the offensive performance against the jets was an aberration. But that's pretty much been the norm for this team all year. The only difference was this time we played a top notch defense, while in other games we were playing against defenses ranked like 3oth or 31st in the NFL. Dude, we all get your point, but you're just so hysterical about overstating your case that it's laughable. Your one-note whining just gets old. For all the world, it seems like you want them to tank just so you can say "I told you so."
walzav29
All last night did for me was make me postpone my worrying about the Colts and Chargers. I can't wait for the Bengals to win this game, so I can enjoy 3 playoff games this weekend!

Backs against the wall and nothing to lose. Anything can happen.
