ChadJohnson-85
if he does, i hope nfl will suspensed him instead of fine him. i know his being suspensed will hurt us but have to.u guys can think that he wear a jersey with #15 on it is nothing, it is nothing to me, we know who he is, but think of kids who just start watch football and they know him as 85 not name, u think they wont be confused with wrong number?????? You're worried about kids being confused with who Chad is (correct me if I'm wrong)? And this is a big deal? Especially to suspend or even fine someone over? You know the people talking on you're TV will mention that the person wearing #15 (if Chad does wear #15) is Chad Ocho Cinco. Why wouldn't they? I'm sorry but that is a very weak excuse to why you wouldn't want Chad to wear #15. He's doing it for a friend. Not for show.i did type in long reply, but decide to go with something simpleri give up, i forgot that world are full of morons.Ok??? Kazkal
Guy is a great WR but really he is a cancer to the team. And that I am surprised he hasn't been cut. As the Bengals are keeping him for some strange reason.1.)No he's not2.)He's our best WR3.)We turned down a 1st & 3rd for him so why would we cut him for nothing? ChadJohnson-85
Chad Ochocinco doesn’t want to be a distraction. The Bengals’ wide receiver apparently has reversed course after saying he planned to wear the No. 15 jersey of teammate Chris Henry, who died Thursday, in a game at San Diego.Ochocinco donned Henry’s practice jersey Thursday and had said he wanted to wear his game jersey Sunday against the Chargers. However, the NFL informed the Bengals that Ochocinco wouldn’t be able to do so.While Henry’s No. 15 jersey will be on the sideline during the game, it doesn’t look like it will be on the field. Ochocinco doesn’t believe he’ll wear the jersey, according to Geoff Hobson of Bengals.com, saying, “I don’t want to be a distraction.”Earlier Saturday, NFL Players Association assistant executive director for external affairs Geroge Atallah posted a tweet in which he said the union “will cover any fine” levied against Ochocinco by the league and “match it with a gift to our Chris Henry memorial fund.” Technically, though, that would be illegal under league rules. NFL spokesman Greg Aiello confirmed the league rule that states it is illegal for any entity to pay the fine imposed from a violation of the league’s uniform policy. Such fines are taken directly from a player’s salary.Told of the offer by the NFLPA, Ochocinco told Bengals.com that he doesn’t want the scenario to be a problem with coach Marvin Lewis.“I’m going to work through Marvin on that,” Ochocinco said. For now, that’s the latest. This is BS. Pidge
Lob the ball up in the air on the first TD or summat. Nice simple tribute and puts the whole foolishness of NFL admin issues out of the way. Just a little nod to Slim like that would be great. Of course, a hammering of the Chargers would be an even more fitting doff of the cap.
ChadJohnson-85
Lob the ball up in the air on the first TD or summat. That would be nice. But the refs would love to call intentional grounding on us for that. Bunch of flag happy F***s!

If they just line up 10 and lob a deep pass to an empty part of the field I would be ok with that. I doubt the Chargers would do anything to ruin the moment either. Pidge
When the Skins went with 10 the Bills ran it up the middle. The moment was ruined because the Skins couldn't tackle a one-legged drunk and they gained about 20 yds on the play. But the spirit was willing from the Bills at least. They didn't throw a long bomb down the middle of the field.

HAPPYJAQ
I really like the idea of one of the players wearing #15 for the first series of the game, then reverting back to their regular number for the remainded.I also like the idea of the players wearing the #15 jersey underneath their own jerseys. One thing that hasn't been mentioned was maybe a player doing the signature Chris Henry TD celebration from '05 and '06 where instead of spiking the ball, he takes the ball in one hand and underhand pitches it high in the hair, directly over his head. I used to love seeing Chris do that, especially the one game in the 4th quarter against the Stealers (I don't quite remember the year, but it was a HUGE catch, at that point in the game), although I remember him doing more than a few times. It would be one of those things that would be significant to the diehard Bengals fans as a tribute to the Chris and not distracting in the least. Most media types probably wouldn't make much of it, which would make it even better, IMO.
coupdayta
http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=4756880Chad Johnson won't be wearing #15 today. Quote from the story:"It's becoming more of a distraction for myself and my team," Ochocinco texted. "Chris wouldn't want it to go the way it is."This is exactly what Chad needs to be saying. Putting the team before himself to honor Henry. We need to stay focused and win this one for Slim.

I just hope his head is in the game today. He said if he would score he would throw the ball up in the air like Chirs used to do. Great thinking Chad! slimjoe
Poor Chad,Henry dies and all the B.S. I see here is Poor Chad. Why can't you pull your heads far enough out of Chad's butt to see even Henry's death is more about Chad than about the Bengals as a team .They should have traded Chad 3 years ago.
