HairOnFire
A Bengal fan apparently burned a terrible towel and posted it on YouTube. I just hauled one of my employees, a Steeler fan, into my office and made him watch. "Now burn that s**t..." Hilarious.

redsbengalsbucks
Maybe, it will be these kinds of cleansing acts that finally lift the haze of failure that has cursed the Bengals franchise for years! Now, burn that piece of S^!T!!!! derekshank
Wow. You could see sincere hurt in his eyes. It's not as if a player did it in the parking lot of Heinz field. It was some Bengal fan in front of his house. Relax. What a joke. This is the same guy who couldn't contain his laughter when talking about Carson Palmer's knee getting destroyed in the playoffs. A man with priorities so out of whack can be only one thing... A Steeler fan.

A man with priorities so out of whack can be only one thing... A Steeler fan.I was thinking the same thing. Cheering on the injury of a person yet being moved close to tears because of a burning towel. I've got to say though that memories of Steeler fans behind me at the game rejoicing at Palmer's injury still irk me. I wasn't the only one that witness them act like asses when Palmer went down. You could hear some of the Steelers fans cheering across the stadium because the Bengals fans were so quiet.
Ickey44
A Bengal fan apparently burned a terrible towel and posted it on YouTube. So, emotionally unstable Steel Legends took time off from his rest-area maintenance job to post his response. Put simply, it's war. [media]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y9FO15rAmBwWow. What a bitch. cincyhokie
Their response to the towel burning:/>http://forums.steelersfever.com/showthread.php?t=42182My favorite quote from one of the posters: "Steeler fans would never burn something so sacred as the terrible towel if another team had such a thing." redsbengalsbucks
Wow, that is some real hick logic going on there. It is OK to mock the WHO-DEY chant, it is OK to beat on a car with the Ravens logo on it, but dont mess with the stupid terrible towel.Hopefully the Stealers franchise is going into a decline, it was nice in the 80's to not have to hear anything about thier arrogant asses. Most of the so-called fans dried up and blew away during that decade, here is hoping for a return to form during the coming decade. They are right about one thing, though. The Bengals have not won anything yet(except the season sweep), we will have to wait a couple of weeks to celebrate our next AFCN championship.. jonahdsage
steeler fans just never cease to amaze. Here's a typical post on that thread:"Man, I always knew cincy was so classless and that's why they have't won anything. I hope carson palmer sees this and his other knee gets blown out and the children of the guy who did this are cursed forever. stay classy cincinnati."How blind can you be to think that burning a yellow piece of cotton is some unforgivable sin but wishing a man to have a career ending injury and the harm of children is simply karma doing her thing? I hope we play them again in the playoffs.

I hope we play them again in the playoffs. It's because they think that they are bigger than the game. "You haven't won 6 Superbowls. We'll show you respect when you win 6 Superbowls." "You aren't the better team, we let you win.""You swept us but haven't won anything, why are you celebrating?""The Bengals may have beat us twice, but we are still the better team.""We still would have won even if Palmer played that Wild Card game. I just know we would have."Feel free to add any I forgot. Basically, Steelers fans think that 1) they never lose to a better team, they beat themselves 2) other fans can't celebrate their wins against them because they don't have 6 Superbowl wins 3) they are entitled to act, say, do anything that they want because they have won 6 Superbowls
HairOnFire
I hope we play them again in the playoffs. I don't. Granted, I can't actually bring myself to write about "wanting" to play teams like the Colts or Patriots, but I don't want to see the Bengals play the Steelers for a 3rd time this year. Because it's a lose/lose situation. Beat 'em and you prove nothing....even if you crush them into little tiny bits. Lose, and the previous two games didn't happen....seemingly. So let some other team beat the Steelers this year. Been there, done that....twice.

As great as it would be to see the Bengals beat them a 3rd time, it proves nothing we don't already know. I'm hoping the Bengals get a first round bye, and the Steelers don't win even one playoff game. But the one team I want to avoid the most is the Pats. They scare me a bit. I think the Bengals match up well against the Colts, and am hoping it's a Bengals/Colts AFC championship game. In Cincy of course.
