kenyon1977
Man, oh, man. I remember when this guy was the number 1 pick in fantasy football drafts and the king s**t of running backs. Now he's benched indefinatly. LOL.
Ickey44
I think they're being a bit too drastic about the whole thing. He said a couple of words that really aren't the bad. Big freakin deal.
Pidge
He's been a bit s**t for a few yrs now. He's wanted out of KC for yonks too.

Behind a better O-line his straight running style would certainly be good on short yardage situations in the AFCN.

He's sucked ever since he got his payday.
Pidge
Yep. He's a situational guy now, at best.
kenyon1977
What about Charles? Is he the real deal? Will he become the impact HB that Johnson did when Preist Holmes got hurt?
Pidge
Well, he's faster than LJ for sure. But eh, that team will be ugly for a while yet. Mind you, we got through an almost total rebuild of the O-line in a yr so maybe they turn it around a bit quicker than that.
kayaker0678
HE was just Cut from his real team
ArmyBengal
Can't see him being of any interest to us and with that being said, who cares ??
Ickey44
Really, LJ is a prick anyway. Who cares what happens to this dude. I saw a blurb on PFT this morning saying he wanted to play for the Steelers. I hope they pick him up.
derekshank
LJ was always overrated. He is just a big guy who was hard to tackle one on one. In my opinion, not even as good as Brandon Jacobs.Look how great Priest Holmes was behind that O-Line before him. That Line was one of the best run blocking lines ever. What happened the instant a couple of those guys retired? LJ sucked. No surprise here.
Stripes
He was never the same after setting the NFL record with 416 carries in one season. That's 20 more than even Benson's current pace (which is likely to slow), to put that in perspective.
TJJackson
Any guy they would bring in at this point needs to not be a potential disrupter of team chemistry - LJ is too great a risk in this sense to bring in, no matter how talented he might be as a RB
kenyon1977
I'd bring him in before we play KC. He knows the playbook Not to mention the Chiefs have to pay his remaining salary for this season, so whoever picks him up will get to pay league min. Passepartout
Guy was a punk! And a cancer to the team. Glad that he's gone!

BlainThePain
I called it then, and I'm calling it now. LJ will be great for us. Rumors coming out of Oakland were that Moss had lost a step and wasn't the receiver he used to be. Once he got onto a winning team that could actually get the ball to him, he became the old Moss again. I really think this will happen for LJ. He got off one of the worst teams in the NFL, to play for one of the top AFC teams, and he also went from one of the worst lines to a much superior line when he came here. His attitude will be rejuvenated, he'll get to run behind a great run blocking line, and he'll be running behind one of the best lead-blocking fullbacks in the NFL. Not to mention, we play some pretty awful run defenses coming up. Barring injury, LJ is going to light it up.
Passepartout
Well LJ just needs a change of pace. Just like Randy Moss did to NE and he became the old WR that we once known before, and mean that in a good kind of way!

I add only that the Bengals are run blocking really well with this line, so I think he can be serviceable in Benson's absense. But I highly doubt that LJ will make "significant" contributions once Benson is back to 100%.

He can spell Scott and Leonard while Ced gets his swerve back.
