Barbarian
Did anyone read my column???I know my guy Billy did but come on guys,Support a bengal brother, even if it's negative feedback. :player: Dave,Yeah, I miss the "Bengal" Days of the Boomer-Wyche Connection. Boomer Esiason was one of the best play action passers to ever play the game. I loved it when Boomer would fake the camara out and the play wouldn't come back into focus until a long bomb was caught by Collinsworth. Sam Wyche was a revolutionary with the no-huddle offense. I loved seeing Marv Levy and the Bills whine about it.James Brooks was one of the best Bengal acquisitions ever. Ickey Woods was a pleasant surprise as a rookie. Anthony Munoz could be the best Left Tackle to ever play the game. I loved Tim Crumrie's ruggedness and the underdog feeling you would get when watching Reggie Williams. David Fulcher (in his glory days) could knock your block off.Too bad those days are gone. Thanks a f**king lot, Mikey.
jtsmith38
Great article, man i almost forgot how much i hate the 49'ers, what with all the raven squawking, double murders and drug trafficking lately. Its nice to recall the old arch rivals that we had before the cleveland team split up into "pile of crap up North" and "pile of crap East" I do remember how much fun it was with Sam Wyche on the sidelines. Does electricity freeze? ? ?Yes it does, at -59degrees F.Bo knows hip replacements. K.J. Carter does not like Astroturf. Carl Pickens does not like where his career(?) has gone since he left Cincinnati. Corey Dillon does not like much of anything, except running over people. If only Tim Krumries leg could have stayed together. If only Stanley Wilson hadn't been set up and drugged by some unknown assailant. If The Shuffle could have lasted a few more years. If it twernt for a man named Montana. Love the past, loving the future, Bengals all the way-WhoDey!! :player:

They had a nice site with potential, but decided to close and some of them came here. I don't see the point of your post.

I figured anyone reading that would understand why I said it..My bad if it was out of line. Well, I didnt mean it to sound mean or anything.. Just messing around.. I appologize kirkendal, b24, if it came across too harsh..besides.. I was a member and posted there fairly often, so you can guess from those facts that I was not really saying the site sucked or whatnot
redsfan2
Great article. Should also have added Wyche calling time out to kick a filed goal against the Oilers or more directly the real object of his hate Jerry Glanville. I don't like running up the score, but that was one exception.
wookie
Sam Wyche was a revolutionary with the no-huddle offense. I loved seeing Marv Levy and the Bills whine about it. Yeah they whined about it when the Bengals were using it against them, but when they started using it themselves they tried to take credit for inventing it!!! They would run their K-Gun offense and talk about how brilliant they were to be using a no-huddle hurry up type offense with Kelly calling the plays at the line. The saddest part was they really believed that they had come up with it.Another of my favorites from the Wyche era was his use of the time clock. If he wasn't running the no huddle he would keep them in the huddle till the last possible moment, come to the line and snap off the play...not giving the defense a chance to adjust to the offensive set. Wyche was always looking for that edge!!!
