redsbengalsbucks Posted October 12, 2009 Report Posted October 12, 2009 I didn't think the brown and yellow was that bad and loved the look of the sock twist heheVery ugly uni's, reminded me of the Stealer throwbacks. YUCK! Quote
skyline Posted October 12, 2009 Report Posted October 12, 2009 The socks cracked me up. No, they weren't pretty, but I enjoyed them myself. I guess I'm the only one Quote
ArmyBengal Posted October 12, 2009 Report Posted October 12, 2009 At least I didn't have a seizure, like the possibility while watching the Seahawks and the neon green ones they sported !!!All time worst uniforms ever created !!! Quote

gregstephens Posted October 13, 2009 Report Posted October 13, 2009 To be fair to the original Broncos, the way I always heard the story they had to take freebie leftovers from some college team or something for their first year. I think the NFL should let them use the second year throwbacks with the orange helmets and white horses on them. Quote

I think the NFL should let them use the second year throwbacks with the orange helmets and white horses on them. The team chose which throwback uniforms to honor. Nothing was forced upon them. Besides, I actually like the brown and yellow uniforms, which I had only seen previously when watching black & white footage, better than the Broncos normal uniforms. Quote

Must admit I didn't know the league gave them that option. Can't say I'm a fan of the current Bronco uni either. Not buying on the brown and yellow, though. Quote

I was wrong about the origin--they were second hand purchases from a defunct semi-pro team. Anyway, interesting stuff, and I'd still go with the second uni. Quote
Pidge Posted October 15, 2009 Report Posted October 15, 2009 I liked them. Especially the socks. Rock on Denver. All they need is a green wig and they'd have a full on oompa loompa vibe. Quote
