Fans reaction at the end of the game

I keep reading steelers everywhere saying that bengals fans reacted like it was our superbowl (whatever that means). Here are some thoughts:

1. we were awful last year.

2. we lost on a fluke play 1st game of the year

3. we beat the packers IN LAMBEAU on a nasty 4th qtr drive

4. we beat the steelers, at home, on TWO nasty 4th qtr drives

5. everyone hates the steelers

If you can't get fired up winning a game in the last 14 seconds you just ain't right. Steelers fans run their mouths constantly and get one shoved down their throat and they get indignant. I can't wait to march into heinz field and give it to them again.

Whatever. We don't have to justify ourselves to them. Had it been the other way around... had Ben led a last minute comeback after being behind the entire game, I'm sure they would have stayed very even keeled. Hines Field would have sounded like a Tennis match.

No. It's a rivalry game, and it was won in dramatic fashion. Sure, Bengals fans were going crazy... but we hate the Steelers. The place would have still been rocking if they beat anyone like that... but against the hated Steelers in Cincy - yeah, it's a big deal.

I also liked seeimg the looks on thier faces ...IMO we would've beatin the Steelers at home, in a certain playoff game if it wasn't for a cheat shot, and this streak would've been over a long time ago...For years I've heard my Steelers friends count 2 wins against us before the season even starts, and about their referee helped SB's that they have recently won, so today I got to say f#@k the Steelers and I'm still smiling ...

Watching those videos made me jump up and down again!!!

First thing that came to mind after we scored b4 the kickoff, was maybe this feeling and the crowd singing to Squeeler fans was like getting knocked out and then getting pissed on, don't come back! This is our house! No more infestation of Squeeler pee yellow in our stadium anymore!

I've been swapping with a Steeler fan at work for more than a week so I was ready for him when he tried to pull the above Super Bowl rant on me this morning.

First words out of my mouth...."We're going to sweep you this season."

That's beautiful! Our stadium looks so awesome from that angle too. I like the endzone corner seats in the first section the best.. God I wish I was down there now. Too much fun.

I've been swapping with a Steeler fan at work for more than a week so I was ready for him when he tried to pull the above Super Bowl rant on me this morning.

First words out of my mouth...."We're going to sweep you this season."

Before the game, some guys in the stands were yelling at Willie Parker and he proceeded to pretend to kiss his ring finger several times. Saw Corey Dillon do the same thing several years ago. Can't take it away from them but I truly hope that this is the beginning of the stick-it-in-and-break-it-off phase for the Bengals. It's long overdue.

I agree. I'm all for being obnoxious and talking s**t, but beating somebody and not letting them go to the bathroom is going too far. People should be able to go and enjoy any game in any stadium without having to worry about being attacked.

I agree. I'm all for being obnoxious and talking s**t, but beating somebody and not letting them go to the bathroom is going too far. People should be able to go and enjoy any game in any stadium without having to worry about being attacked.

Ummm. I saw no such behavior in my section. Only thing I saw was Steeler fan turning around and double flipping off everyone behind him every time something good happened for the Steelers.

Now, some drunk behind me tossed a towel or something at this guy after the game but nothing to the extent of beatings or not allowing someone to use the bathroom.

Ive had beers thrown at me in Cleveland. I dont blame the overall fans. I blame the idiot himself. There are those same idiots everywhere. Its not an indication of the fanbase.

Maybe Ill save up some money and get a couple tickets to a Steelers game - flip all them off after every play and expect them to treat me nicely. I dont think so. ( I didnt do anything to this guy but he kind of asked for a little retaliation)

I told the jerk flipping us off to have some respect in our house.

Hey maybe ill post the same thing in a Steeler news site after the Steeler game even though I am not going. Itll hold the same amount of credibility.
