walzav29
The difference between this team and the others is the run D. When Pitt would have a lead like today they would pound it out. Not anymore. I love it, love it, love it. RUN D!! Who Dey! Who Dey! Who Dey think gonna beat dem Bengals! I say NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO BODY! I know that Palmer will look to the 07 Clev game and not overlook them. Let's keep it going.
DC_Bengals_Fan
My favorite was a run stuff for loss by Fanene, Peko, and Maualuga. It was like a damn Samoan convention in the backfield. Loved it!

volcom69
Overall i am happy with the defense, i still would love to see a dominate defense, but i think it might be to soon for that, and sometimes i think i put so much on the defense and get so mad when they give up big plays. I thought today they gave up to many big plays in the first half and not enough pressure, but in the second half they came out better and had a good second half, but i still think im expecting to much from them, because they are just not there yet.Run defense was good today gave up a couple big runs, but when it counted they made the great stops. Still room for improvement and i hope sometime soon we can have that dominate Defense that i have been waiting for. What makes me laugh is i keep hearing now all of a sudden if it wasnt for the "fluke" play the bengals would be 3-0. After that play everybody wanted to make fun of the bengals saying how they were out of postion, but now all of a sudden its a "fluke" play....lol the media makes me laugh. JoePong
The run D struggled in the first half, but really stepped itup. I think Parker had something like 21 yards on his last 11 carries after having something like 70+ yards on his first 14 or so.
SupaBran
All in all, we got dominated in the first half on both sides of the ball but the D played great when it needed to and adding a score didn't hurt!Don't look past Cleveland and play better than we did vs. the Squeelers vs. the Ravens
ArmyBengal
Can't forget that the defense did hold them to 2 FG's early on when the game could have REALLY gotten out of hand. When was the last time we have seen that ?? They kept the game within reach by not allowing TD's, but I guess that was "given" to us as well right ??
Don_Wizzle
The D played well at times, pretty inconsistent though. If Linus Sweed catches that TD we are done, then a missed FG. Things sort of fell in place for the win. We capitalized on there mistakes, which never happened against the Steelers before. Usually the other way around. It feels good. Anybody else question why Carson would spike the ball on the last drive with 2 TOs left around the 20? Created (2) 4th down situations when it should have been 3rd down. Oh well. Also, whats up with Shayne Graham? Short kickoffs and horribly missed FGAll in all, WHO DEY! Love looking down at Pittsburgh

Love looking down at PittsburghIn an interview, Carson said that he wanted to save those timeouts in case Caldwell hadn't made it in on his catch, etc. I personally think they should have just run another play quickly and picked up a few yards, but I guess it's possible that they could have had a false start or made some other bad play due to rushing it. HoTbOy
I also thought the D gave up too many big plays, I would like to see the CB's playing up a little closer to the line of scrimmage and give the WR's some bump and run, don't know if they are trying to protect RWilliams or not, but that is my gripe to many big plays...
