ArmyBengal
Ok, it's Thursday and I'm sick of all the talk of fluke plays and the season being over...What are you guys looking for this weekend in Green Bay ??I'm wanting to see how the team responds after week 1's outcome. I want to see if this team has matured at all or is it something that will haunt them and linger for a while. I'm also interested to see if the defense can continue to play well and what kind of pass rush they can generate. What I really want to see though is the offense pick up where the last drive of week 1 ended.Hopefully we see some of Bernard Scott taking some screen plays around the edges and Henry getting some looks downfield. Something else I hope we see ?? The problem with dropped balls getting resolved. I also love seeing Huber and his ability to place punts within the 20. He did that 5 times last week. Here's to hoping he isn't punting that much, but when he does, he changes the field position like no punter we've had in quite some time.I'm not saying the Bengals win this week, but if the defense can continue playing well and the offense finds it's groove, would it really suprise anyone ?? I'm not going to predict a score, because I see this game as just to unpredictable and think it will be much closer than most people out there think it will be, win or lose.Am I the only one who starts to get excited about the upcoming weekend of football come Thursday or does it take longer for some ?? Bearcat1975
I actually expect the Bengals to come in and give the Packers a good game. They may not win it, but Lambeau in September is not exactly the "frozen tundra." Oline of course is the scary thing here. One guy is still questionable and the Bengals oline backups are practice squad bad.Maybe Brat will adjust his gameplan.Bwhahaha yeah right. skyline
I'm looking for a close one as well. The Packers D is a step up from Denver, but I still think we should see whether the offense is starting to gel or if it really is the mess everyone fears. As for our D, I think we're up to the challenge, but if GB pops a few big plays (which I expect), then it'll be interesting to see whether or not the floodgates open. walzav29
Maybe I'm delusional, but I don't think the Packers are the greatest team of all time. Everyone and there mother has picked the Packers. They were 6-10 last year, they just moved to a 3-4 D which the Bengals have experience with. There is no reason the Bengals can't beat the Packers. Whatever funk Palmer and the offense is in, must snap out.
ArmyBengal
I honestly think this game will be a fairly good game to gauge where the Bengals are as I think the Packers offense is solid and the defense, while a new scheme, is pretty good as well. I don't think they are all world, but they are certainly a solid team and if the Bengals should get the win, would make me very MUCH better about the direction this team is headed in. fattyjay
I'm pretty excited Army! After almost jumping off a bridge after last week's game, I have calmed down and actually think the Bengals have a very good chance of pulling off the upset. I think the offense puts a few more points on the board and the D really comes to play. I expect a somehat low scoring affair in the neighborhood of 17-14. Put me down for a Bengals bounce back win! membengal
I keep waiting for the Bengals to decide they have had enough of getting sand kicked in their faces, rise up, and beat the s**t out of some team something like 35-10. Just ruin their soul. Not holding my breath.
orangebeard
I really need the boys to step up and prove something. Last week was terrible. Here in Texas the only part of that game that was televised was that last terrible thirty seconds. It was quite possibly one of the most depression moments of my life.I'm not expecting a win this week, I'm just hoping that I won't have to hang my head in shame again. GapControl
i'm betting the offense comes out and scores a td on the first series. that type of loss puts bad tastes in pros mouths. the defense looks ready to tee off on a sit in the pocket, timing quarterback aaron rodgers. i look for a few turnovers to help our offense pull the game out.27-14 bengals
jonf45uk
i really think they can win this.admittedly i thought they'd stroll to an easy win last week though.....the defence was fine last week, and with some sort of showing from the offence, we stand a decent chance.more of chris henry and caldwell, and if coles drops any more simple passes, drop him. not acceptable.lets hope they've all learnt something out of last weeks shambles jon
ArmyBengal
Yes, a big welcome to our new board member OrangeBeard !!!The Bengals defense is what I'm looking forward to again. "Solly" knows the Bengals as good or better than any of the national sportswriters.I have always found him to be pretty objective when it comes to the Bengals too. kingwilly
I am expecting a win. Chicago has a poor offense and an overrated defense and was in the game right to the end.GB is very beatable.

Chicago has a poor offense and an overrated defense and was in the game right to the end.GB is very beatable.I get pretty excited knowing that a banged up bears D held rodgers to 147 passing or something like that and their o-line was playing like a strainer. Thinking about a speedy Geathers matched up against their pathetic looking right tackle has me licking my lips and dreaming of a 3-5 sack day. I'm expecting the defense to score points, ocho and henry to get in the end zone.21-13 bengals.
