ShulaSteakhouse
I think Scott's going to have a tough time beating out Dorsey, or making the team at all depending. If Dorsey stays healthy, you can't just cut him again, too talented/experienced. Best case is that one of them makes the PS and isn't claimed, and can be used while the other gets hurt - which I'm guessing will happen more than once this year between the two.I'm wondering if they plan on getting creative with Leonard doubling as a FB/TB hybrid to confused defenses, short yardage and otherwise. It seems Watson didn't have much use here anymore. ArmyBengal
Watson's time was up and it wasn't hard to see this time around. The talent and youth finally caught up to him.Good luck to Watson in whatever comes next for him...
bwillycuse
The thing is, you cannot rely one bit on Dorsey. Yes, I like him..he always produces.Would Scott make it through waivers to the practice squad? It would be a shame to chose Dorsey, lose Scott to waivers and lose Dorsey to the inevitable injury. Pidge
I hope they use Leonard more as a RB anyway. Good RB. His shoulders didn't seem to be up to the FB role at the Rams, not as anything other than an occasional blocker anyway. But yeah, he'd be good for SY situations along with Benson and Scott or Dorsey being the change of pace back.Just glad Perry is nothing but a distant memory. Frigging softcock. Dorsey gets cut. He's hurt too much and Scott wouldn't clear waivers to even make it to the practice squad. Scott has way more upside. ArmyBengal
I just pretty much figure that Leonard is looked upon as the #2 right now without much thought. Preseason could change that, but that's where we are right now I think.

They've already gone this route with Dorsey and he didn't stick at the other team (Colts, right) either. Scott would be gobbled off waivers I think. I can't believe we got him for nothing!
Kazkal
Can't count on Dorsy rather keep scott....Glad to see them cut Watson early so he has a chance catching somewhere else.

There's just too much talent in the backfield to keep him now. I hope he catches on somewhere and continues to do well for them......unless it's the Steelers. ArmyBengal
I'm not trying to bash Watson, but I haven't been a fan of his for a couple of years now and if it weren't for injuries to Perry and Irons, this would have happened long before now. I think he was cut early to give him a shot to get on somewhere else, but I'm betting he doesn't and if he does, I bet he won't be doing much for whatever team that may be. Once again, not trying to be harsh and I do wish him luck.
