gregstephens
http://www.bengals.com/news/article-1/beli...63-5d55465ce577Hobson, in the face of Phil Jackson's tenth championship win as a coach, posits his theory that FoM (Paul Brown) should be on the NFL coaches' version of Mt. Rushmore.Diverting from a certain other player monopolizing our boards (thanks in part to myself included) I thought I'd throw this out for discussion.Whaddy'all think? jjakq27
I think he merits a place there. Others would include Lombardi, Halas and Lambeau. PB is still no. 10 all-time despite the number of games they play now.http://www.post-gazette.com/pg/07006/751710-66.stmThe difficulty is ranking and finding room for the guys in the Super Bowl era. (Walsh, Noll, Shula, Belichick, J. Johnson)
redsbengalsbucks
Cant think of a more influential football coach than PB. He changed the game with innovation after innovation. I would say that he could be on the short list for the NFL representative on the all-sports Mt. Rushmore. Along with Sparky having a shot at MLB. ArmyBengal
If from only a contribution standpoint alone, I think it's hard to disagree with that line of thought.
HairOnFire
Along with Sparky having a shot at MLB. Just a quick aside, I bump into Sparky all the time around here. (Thousand Oaks) He drives the dirtiest white Lincoln sedan you could imagine.
Bearcat1975
PB deserves a spot on the NFL Rushmore, no question.Surprised no one has mentioned Landry though.

(Walsh, Noll, Shula, Belichick, J. Johnson)Yep. The first 3 named also played or coached under PB. He should be one of, if not the, first on the list to go on this Mt. Rushmore of NFL coaches. DC_Bengals_Fan
Lombardi's going on no matter what. I think Bill Walsh gets the nod for modern-day coaches. After that, you have a lot of guys with a good case:*Don Shula*Chuck Noll*George Halas*Bill Belichick*Tom Landryand sure...*Paul BrownBut, dare I say...*Bill CowherOf course, that's 9 names, which is 5 too many.
