membengal
There are ZERO reasons to worry about upgrading RB now. If the team is dissatisfied with what it as at RB, then after last cuts at training camp there will be plenty of decent bodies available to scoop up at that position.I second those who have been advocating signing some competition for CB. I also wouldn't mind Roy Williams at S.Man, I almost never get what I want.If they lock down Hood, I am borderline content over the depth and potential of the defense heading into training camp. I actually am not sure I remember the last time I was so sanguine about the defense on this team.

derekshank
So for those keeping score... most of us agreed that it would be a good idea to 1) bring in Roy Williams, 2) get a nickle cornerback, and 3) attain RB depth. So far, a mere two days after this thread began, they have 1) brought in Roy Williams, 2) have Roderick Hood coming for an interview, and 3) traded for Brian Leonard.Any other wishes? Perhaps we should recommend Mike Brown give out $1,000 for every post on Bengalszone.com?
Clackwoods
I am starting to think that Mike comes in here and reads our posts. Lmfao....He looked up and saw that the majority of this place wanted Andre so they drafted him, everyone also said we wanted Rey if we could get him later in the first so we got him, now we got Hood coming in for a visit. This is ridiculous.

Wait a minute, that might be overkill for 2 people... At least Ox and Ria would enjoy themselves !!!

Contrast that with the last two where they really seemed to be on autopilot, when they weren't tripping over themselves. This draft, and offseason reminds me a lot of 2005. I hated the 1st pick, liked the rest, and loved the effort getting other guys in here to contribute/ fill in the gaps.Man if we had Braham from 2005 I think that would instantly make the Bengals a playoff caliber team right now. Not to hijack the thread but that center position is going to be the anvil that breaks the camels back for the Bengals this season. And you can see it from a mile away too. Like watching a hurricane roll in. Or like watching a pocket collapse.
