Dadraftnick Posted April 26, 2009 Report Posted April 26, 2009 Needs in no particular orderbest player who -fits our team -is durable -is not a criminal, fatty, stupid, or unmotivated -plays one of the following positionsRB (kr/pr preferred)CB (kr/pr preferred)LT (versatility preferred)OG (versatility preferred)FBIt would not be a bad idea at all to pick up a long snapper - I think Brad St Louis is close to qualifying for social securityI gotta disagree with the LT OG- if we draft one of those guys we would have to cut a pretty good player to keep himHow about another pass rusher - there are some pretty good WR's left - how about 2 CB's instead of 1 -remember our #3 and 4 sucked last year not to mention that neither one could pick off a pass to save their life- how about 2 RB's
ArmyBengal Posted April 26, 2009 Author Report Posted April 26, 2009 REOPENED, sorry for the confusion....
HAPPYJAQ Posted April 26, 2009 Report Posted April 26, 2009 Has Jennings from Liberty been picked yet?
derekshank Posted April 26, 2009 Report Posted April 26, 2009 Would anyone be suprised by a backup QB like Hoyer from Michigan St. here ??Not a ton. (How do you like that palindrome?) It's certainly not my first choice... but the Bengals have tried to find quality QB backups in the draft for several years now. I'm not sure what would make this year any different... other than the fact that up to this point all of their picks have made sense to me!As a State fan I am not a hoyer fan. His girlfriend was hot as hell thoughI don't care to draft a QB at all really... but you can't blame Hoyer that his WR's couldn't catch.
derekshank Posted April 26, 2009 Report Posted April 26, 2009 Has Jennings from Liberty been picked yet?Jennings is still there... but I'd prefer Peerman at RB.
HAPPYJAQ Posted April 26, 2009 Report Posted April 26, 2009 Has Jennings from Liberty been picked yet?Jennings is still there... but I'd prefer Peerman at RB.He's a guy that a lot of people had as a 3rd or 4th rounder. Any word out there to what's caused him to slip so far?
DelhiBengal Posted April 26, 2009 Report Posted April 26, 2009 Mike Mickens...the last Bearcat CB on the board...who would have thunk it a few months back?
TJJackson Posted April 26, 2009 Report Posted April 26, 2009 I would not mind Canfield with this next pick at all
Kazkal Posted April 26, 2009 Report Posted April 26, 2009 Noooo Patriots took the number 1 Long snapper >_<I would not mind Canfield with this next pick at allAgreed,Would be good guard depth and have a 7th just few pick's later to maybe take a RB or vice versa.
TJJackson Posted April 26, 2009 Report Posted April 26, 2009 The other thing I really, really want to see is a punt returner at this pointParadise pick at this point is a change of pace speedy RB with soft hands, decent blocking, and punt return skills
Kazkal Posted April 26, 2009 Report Posted April 26, 2009 Colts take painter! Jeremiah Johnson still on the board \crosses fingers
kentjett Posted April 26, 2009 Report Posted April 26, 2009 Devin Moore would be a good change of pace back and add some return ability w/ his 4.3 speed.
mgilgris Posted April 26, 2009 Report Posted April 26, 2009 Anyone know anything about Raashad Jennings? Big back at 6'1, 231 lbs
kentjett Posted April 26, 2009 Report Posted April 26, 2009 He is a power back and we already have 2 of them in Benson and Russell
BengalszoneBilly Posted April 26, 2009 Report Posted April 26, 2009 4 picks away......almost thereJesus...has this been a long damn day or what!?!
mgilgris Posted April 26, 2009 Report Posted April 26, 2009 On another note, the Reds outfielder that they drafted out of Indiana still has not been picked in this years draft Andrew Means
TJJackson Posted April 26, 2009 Report Posted April 26, 2009 Gimme Ellis Lanksterall american as a PR, corner at WV this year
Kazkal Posted April 26, 2009 Report Posted April 26, 2009 Did not take the bengals long to make that pick o_O
