ArmyBengal Posted April 25, 2009 Author Report Posted April 25, 2009 I still say in order of preference:Curry (If he falls, which I don't think, he should be the pick)Andre Smith (Even if Monroe or the other Smith are there)BJ Raji (Has to be considered)*If there just HAS to be a WR taken (Please God no) I prefer Maclin...
DesperateDerelict Posted April 25, 2009 Report Posted April 25, 2009 Let's pretend, for the sake of argument, that we actually have a GM who knows what he's doing....If Mark Sanchez is on the board, there are two very interested trade partners (WAS #13 & NYJ #17)If Curry is still there, New England (#23 + #34 + lots more) will be interested. If Tyson Jackson or Raji are there, but the other's gone, GB #9 & DEN #12 are interestedIf Jason Smith is there, Buffalo (#11) is probably on the phone. So, my question is, how far will A.Smith / Monroe / Oher fall? I think, given the right situation, all 3 of these players will become excellent OT's, but I think OHER could end up the best of the bunch. Could we get him at #9? #12? #17?An extra 2nd rounder sounds really good to me this year to improve both our OC and DL.I mean, what the hell...idiot Mikey is paying himself 1 million a year, maybe he could earn it for a change
HairOnFire Posted April 25, 2009 Report Posted April 25, 2009 Truth be told I'm far more interested in what happens with #38 than #6 due to my strong belief the Bengals will get a very good player in the 1st round regardless of which direction they turn.Even trading out of the #6 spot? I stand corrected. Because that would be more interesting, wouldn't it?

Kazkal Posted April 25, 2009 Report Posted April 25, 2009 Man I don't like this starting at 1pm thing lol...only got 5 hours of sleep because I thought it started at 8.
georgeoberer Posted April 25, 2009 Report Posted April 25, 2009 I don't know what I want I would be happy with the best tackle if that's A.Smith he is going to be great for years. I would be happy with Curry if he drops. I would be real happy with a trade down for extra picks. Time to see...

Kazkal Posted April 25, 2009 Report Posted April 25, 2009 Rams Select Jason Smith no real big surprise but I wonder how much it had to do with his combine results.
Kazkal Posted April 25, 2009 Report Posted April 25, 2009 Tyson Jackson to the Chiefs! Good news for us =)
ChadJohnson-85 Posted April 25, 2009 Report Posted April 25, 2009 Tyson Jackson to the Chiefs! Good news for us =)OH YEAH!
kurgan74 Posted April 25, 2009 Report Posted April 25, 2009 so far 3 for 3 on my last mock draft. Jackson to the Chiefs is a good sign for the Bengals if they wan to trade down.
Clackwoods Posted April 25, 2009 Report Posted April 25, 2009 Tyson Jackson to the Chiefs! Good news for us =)That pretty much guarantees us a OT at number six!I am still hoping for Orakpo!
georgeoberer Posted April 25, 2009 Report Posted April 25, 2009 Jackson jumped like crazy in the last 48 hours. I think we might just have Curry or Sanchez sitting there when we pick which means good chance of a possible trade wouldn't you think?????
ShulaSteakhouse Posted April 25, 2009 Report Posted April 25, 2009 So far, so good for the Bingals. Will the Seahags really pick Curry here? .
Spor_tees Posted April 25, 2009 Report Posted April 25, 2009 Wow 2 picks until the Bengals and Monroe, Andre Smith, Orakapo, Curry, Sanchez, and Crabtree are still out there. I don't know if the Bengals want to trade down at this point with so many good players still available!
ArmyBengal Posted April 25, 2009 Author Report Posted April 25, 2009 Eugene Monroe will be the pick after Jackson went to KC there. Color me not happy !!!
