agreen_112
Benson's a stud.. my only worries with him are his character and I have enough reason to believe that he contributes to minors.I think Benson has learned from his mistakes in Chicago though, so I think he will stay on the straight and narrow... I'd sign him for another year.
ArmyBengal
You need not look any further than the next quote to give insight to why the Bengals will not draft Crabtree if he is there at #6.Lewis, blaming the lost season on injuries, expects Simpson to be a "major" contributor going forward.Everything else in that article was about where we thought we were. No suprises from what I read...
Thurmanation
F*ck Eric Ghuichec. If he wanted to keep his job he shouldn't have been so terrible at it.
HAPPYJAQ
T.J. saying he'd be interested in the Eagles is definitely not the same as Suggs saying that he'd take a "hometown discount" to stay with the Ravens. Maybe T.J. and Chad aren't as tight as Chad thinks and Deion was right.
ArmyBengal
What baffles me also about Chad saying TJ wants to come back is, what makes that any different from when Carson was saying what he thought about Chad last offseason in which Chad ripped Carson for doing ?? Maybe Chad needs to heed his own advice and shut the f*ck up.
HairOnFire
Sanders might be a dick, but I've never questioned the things he said. The Bengals will have to use a tag to keep TJ because he's not staying put without one.

I think it's good if he's cheap, which he should be. Marvin obviously loves him, too. Since we're talking nuts suppose the Bengals fo resign Thornton to play DE and draft Raji to play NT in the 3-4. Sims/Peko/Fanene at the other DE. Shirley back up NT. We know that Geathers can stand up, but can Odom.? Do we have the ILBs? Both Marvin and Zimmer have hinted at wanting to do it, but said they need "3 or 4" players to make it work. Kinda interesting, if not crazy. icehole3
I think they like the 4-3 too much, if you look at the guys they grab theyre all big dudes, their LBs are all 240-250, theyre DEs other than Odom are 270-290 the ones that they use anyway. They believe right now they need to stop the run first and then pick off a pass or create a turnover some other way, not rush the passer with 225-250 LB/DEs. I think theyll resign Thornton. Raji would be right in line with theyre thinking and theyre real quiet about who they want because of what happened last year when everybody jumped in front of them and grabbed guys they wanted. sparky151
I hope we don't re-sign Thornton. The team will probably only carry 8 D-linemen. Right now it looks like Geathers, Odom, Rucker, and Fanene at DE. Peko, Sims, Shirley, and Harris would be the DTs. That's before any draftees or waiver wire pickups. Since Fanene can play both DE and DT, I don't see a spot for Thornton. If they do bring him back for veteran minimum, he'd be displacing someone with more upside.
